Gents,
I cruised for a while this evening with a fellow monger in the same car. Often when I come to town my good buddy and I simply like to cruise the local routes to compare notes. I am from the west side and he the south side. Today , we took the west side route. As you know, it is always difficult to get someone with 2 guys in the car. but we lucked up, again.
Startted the trip about 1200AM.
Cruised all of North Ave, no joy.
All of Cicero, no joy
All of Armitage, no joy

I saw Autumn once and I'll give her a 7 or 8 out of 10. I really can't say anything bad about her, nothing great either IMHO. She is very clean and safe. Ever since the end of the mayoral elections here, the LE pressure on MPs in the Inglewood section has died down. Actually, Century Blvd (next to LAX airport) has been nice for a month now. Great! I've been spending what little free time I have at work and at home to read up on the ton of posts in LA, not to mention the obligatory openning of pics that are most likely fake, but I don't mind seeing some free skin in a break from all the reading. The closest AMP's to O'Hare would be Spa One and 83 Bodyworks on Elmhurst Rd. and Exercise Spa on Algonquin Rd., all in Mt. Prospect. Travel a little farther and you can go to Higgins Spa on Higgins in Elk Grove Village or Singapore Salon on Golf Rd. in Arlington Heights.
If you're looking for just a happy ending, pretty much any one of them will do. If you're looking for FS, probably your best bet is Singapore Salon. I am a paranoid sort by nature. And while I'm not so hesistant to name names here, I still find myself a little loathe to mention where exactly my new house is. Moving on, I think the bees are out today. Keep an eye out around Div. and Pulaski - if she's standing in the same spot, and she isn't waiting on the bus, and patrols keep going around and past without saying anything to her, it strikes me as suspicious. I think the guys are on a mission today - 3, 4 times I spotted a couple of possible SWs (and a couple of definite ones), then saw the dreaded U-turn before I could get back. Got back to the intersection, she walks right in front of my car against the light and stops, hesitates, and keeps going. But still hasn't really looked at me.
So now I'm caught at the light, just watching this rump walk away. She gets across the street, stops, looks at me, looks away, looks again, walks away. Talk about ambiguous. Of course, I had no choice - had to go back around. I'd gotten a good look - definitely a 8 on the scale... clear skin, nice face. Couldn't get a grasp on the ethnicity.
Finally got back around, by that time she'd gotten to some kind of convenience store, still kind of aimless, but stopped to talk to some dudes. She looked again, I decided I'd go around just one last time. Got around a corner, saw a squad go by in the rear-view. By the time I got back around, the whole area by this store was so empty, you'd have thought no one had ever been around there. It was like everyone vanished. Did another lap just in case she was still around somewhere, then decided to do one big circle and call it a night.

In a way, I agree with HHH...it is painful to see a fellow monger get so close to picking up a girl, but not close the deal. But then again, in the situation concerning "badass", maybe Jasper dodged a bullet. Here's why:
1. She might have looked too good to be true.
2. High LE presence, but none stopping to talk to "badass"
3. Jasper's intentions surely were know by "badass", but still waited for Jasper to make the first move. A true working girl would have tried to initiate more contact if some monger made more than a couple drivebys. A decoy is more likely to wait for the hobbyist to make the offer.
On the small talk issue, I never bothered with the small talk. I guess this is because I usually don't approach anyone unless I'm absolutely convinced she's working...and if she's working, I just get to the point and start negotiating. If she looks too good to be true, then she might be a cop...unless she looks too young to be a cop.

I heard on the news today that Da Mayor is going to make a major push on prostitution. I think he is talking about SW's, not escorts. A Chicago Police Department Web site unveiled today aims to discourage people from seeking prostitutes in the city by posting the names, addresses and photographs of those arrested for doing so.
Speaking at a Navy Pier news conference following this morning's police recruit graduation ceremony, Mayor Richard Daley warned prospective johns now face public humiliation on the Chicago police Web site, in addition to fines and the loss of one's car.
The site currently lists 21 people charged with patronizing or soliciting for prostitution during the past month. Seventeen are from Chicago, and one person apiece is from Arlington Heights, Melrose Park, Racine, Wis., and Houston.
Last year, Chicago police arrested 3,204 prostitutes and 950 customers and impounded 862 vehicles, officials said.
A task force that recommended the Web site "started from the premise that prostitution is not a victimless crime, and I agree wholeheartedly," Daley said.
An estimated 16,000 to 25,000 women are involved in prostitution in Chicago over the course of a year, the mayor said, and most had been victims of sexual abuse and domestic violence from a young age.
"Once they become prostitutes, they're subject to even more violence, abuse and possible death from their pimps and their customers," he said. "They spend their lives surrounded by criminals and drugs, and vulnerable to sexually transmitted diseases."
Prostitution also damages neighborhoods in the same way drug dealing and gang activity do, Daley said.
The program was recommended by the Chicago Intersystem Assessment Work Group, a task force of law enforcement and social service representatives convened and chaired by the Mayor's Office on Domestic Violence. The group has been studying street-level prostitution for two years.
Officials said the city will encourage judges to require those convicted of patronizing prostitutes to attend a deterrence program operated by Genesis House, a social service agency that provides shelter and outreach to prostitutes.
There, offenders will hear about the physical, social and legal repercussions of their actions from former prostitutes, health professionals and law enforcement personnel, officials said. The city also will notify the home-city police departments of out-of-towners who are arrested for soliciting prostitutes.
Additionally, in neighborhoods where prostitution is a problem, the CAPS community policing agency will host forums advising residents what they can do to drive the practice out of their communities, officials said.

There used to be a lot of activity on Lincoln Ave between Foster and Peterson because of all the cheap motels that charged for 4 hour stays. I've never seen any action on Peterson & Foster though...just the area surrounding Lincoln. A Lot of those motels have been shutdown. Having been the victim of a CPD sting several years ago I can tell you that no one ever gets off, gets their money or even gets a fair trial. And the cops don't give a shit about you or your story either, I sat in a funking squad for almost an hour while they nailed 2 other jokers besides me, because they didn't want to head in to stations unless they had a full load! Once CPD has entrapped your ass, they own you for the night and you can kiss your car and the shit inside goodbye too. My car was "relieved" of several items that the cops made me put in the glove box such as my cell phone and palm pilot, which someone ripped off by the time I could get my car from the impound, I get pissed off today when I think about it.
Funny thing is, even in big bad Chicago, and even with the hard line stance da 'mayor is taking, solicitation is still a only misdemeanor which means other than the shitty night in the holding tank, $1,500 impound fee (which is a stiff fine) and a court appearance, that's about all your going to have to deal with. In fact the court even offers 6 month supervision and then expunges your court record afterwards! Just like traffic court, so I rest my case; it is, and will always be, about the money!

I suppose the pictures are no different than showing a perp walk or mug shot of any other "alleged" criminal. Its routinely done before any convictions are made in other crimes.
In the case impounding your car, I guess you can draw a parallel to the seizures of property even before you're convicted of a drug crime. If I recall correctly, even if one is found innocent of a durg crime, the burden of proof falls on him to prove his property was seized improperly. Its not right, but its the reality.

But lets remember that we're talking about the oldest profession in the history of man. And that no society has ever successfully eradicated prostitution from itself. And Rich Daley wont be the first guy to completely remove it from our society either. As long as people can walk the streets, there will always be providers willing to sell and mongers willing to pay for sex. Oh, Daley may make it a tough and painful activity in his town, but he cant wipe it out, so will it eventually move out to the burbs? that would be cool for me. But prostitution will survive, especially since its not a felony, and jail sentences for solicitation are not really possible with the already overcrowded jails.
But, your other question was good too. By posting the pics of busted johns, the CPD further legitimizes its continued shady practice of verbal entrapment based on intent, questionable vehicle seizures, and painful impound fines, and they do it to the public (the voters).
Name one other misdemeanor crime that gets half as much attention and prevention support as Prostitution? We probably cant. So why all the attention for a lousy misdemeanor? It's great press, easy campaign fodder and steady revenue for the city coffers. But in a way it unwittingly advertises to us mongers where street activity is still available and where the sting operations are anyway.
But what if Daley just happens to eventually wipe out street prostitution from the city for good? Well then, the voters will look at how he "cleaned up" the place, and think he deserves to get reelected again. Thus making it a win-win for da Mayer. I'll bet that the CPD now has a larger budget set aside for prostitution stings and John websites then they do for real Felony crimes such as murder, burglary and drugs.
It is funny now because I have saved that CPD site into my favorites so I can see what is happening. The CPD had a "field" day late last night into early this morning at Armtiage and Pulaski. The got 16 guys all with arrest dates of yesterday or today. What really got me is that I recoginzed one of the guys as someone I bowl with in the fall/winter.
However I have to admit and race has nothing to do with it at all. There seems to be a TON of hispanic and black men getting nailed. Don't get me wrong here because there are plenty of white guys getting pinched too.

Enough of the non-info gossip.
Tuesday morning, the 28th was driving near North and saw a blondish/red headed lady in a red dress walking toward the gas station. I assumed she was not a provider as the sun was already up at 5 am. I circled the block any way to check her out and sure enough, she is. I don't see her until she walks out of the gas station with a fountain soda. I look at her, smile and she gives me the look. I circled the block again and met her at the corner where she was walking from the first time.

She keeps on walking and I drive down a little further. I some how missed what transpired before she quickly jumps in a white car. I missed an opportunity because I was second guessing. I kept going west and back east down Devon when I saw her again twenty or so minutes later. This time I try to get her attention. However she ignores me. I keep up pursuit to no avail. She obviously evades me. Wasn't sure if she was or not. Think she thought I was LE.

Friday the 1st about 1 am was on 47th and Cicero looking for Carrisa and here what I saw.

Nice "sting" operation for the CPD the other day. 22 guys nabbed in one shot on Cicero Avenue. CPD also had a good night along Madison the night before. It is just not worth even attempting to pick up women anymore even if they are not working. Frankly I enjoy reading the CPD's website showing all the arrests. Please beware of a evil girl working on North Ave. I was out looking for nice bounty on Saturday. I saw a possible just south of Division. I know I should have known better as she was walking with a guy but the pickings were slim and she was ok looking. After pulling up she quoted me 2 Jacksons I said ok only if she would catch. Almost nothing. That wasn't the bad part. The sheer amount of bacon was amazing. Cicero, nothing until about 2 am, when I drove by that one restaurant by the 290 ramp. There, two BSW, one 6, the other 7. The 6 looked like your stereotypical ho, but w/a big chest. The other was dressed nicely, in a long black dress, model thin. Had to pass b/c you other mongers are crowding the area, and I'm not even kidding. That's the easiest way to get pinched in this city.

Made a quick run down North late last night, from about Ashland to Cicero. Saw a few ladies out, but this is not what was of note.
I noticed that it seemed that I was being shadowed by (of all things) a stretch limo. I swear, the guy was hesitating wherever I hesitated, drove slow where I did, pulled over wherever I did (albeit a minute after I'd left), picked the same side streets... bizarre! I decided to pull a couple of quick turns and wound up a couple of blocks behind him.
I realized that I was actually seeing a guy on the prowl with the help of his driver - checking out the ladies as they went by, stopping to talk to a couple of them here and there. That's just plain ballsy.

I don't trust the girl who magically appears out of nowhere at the exact same spot every time, and never seems to move.

Quick note - decided to see what the 47th stroll looks like the other night. Oodles of activity between Western and Cali, but suspicious. The Lemont-Bromberek School District 113A board put Supt. (omitted) on administrative leave with pay Friday, one day after he was arrested in Maywood for allegedly soliciting a female officer for sex.
"We're very saddened about the turn of events over the last 24 hours. Everyone has a right to be appalled and saddened by this," board President Robert Kobylski said. "I personally have a pit in my stomach, and I'm sure everyone [in the district] feels like that."
The seven-member board voted unanimously for (omitted) leave to last until at least Sept. 14, when the board will evaluate its options.
(omitted), 62, of Naperville did not offer his resignation and was not at the meeting. John Murphey, attorney for the district, said (omitted) has a right under his contract to an administrative hearing.
"It's hard to watch someone do this to himself," Kobylski said regarding (omitted) career. As for the district's parents, he said, "We assured them that we will take the proper action."
(omitted) was among nine people arrested in Maywood early Thursday in a sting operation in response to complaints about prostitution, police said. Police said he allegedly offered an undercover officer $40 for sex about 1:30 a.m.
He was charged with solicitation of a sex act, a misdemeanor, and had to post $100 bail, police said. His vehicle was impounded, requiring him to pay $500 to the village to have it returned.
(omitted) was appointed superintendent five years ago and had announced plans to retire at the end of the school year. He earns about $187,000 a year.
Before overseeing District 113A's four schools and about 2,600 pupils, (omitted) spent nine years as superintendent of Westchester School District 92½. Previously, he was a teacher in Brookfield District 95 and a principal in Highland Park-Highwood School District 111.
(omitted) came to District 113A to replace Thomas Reiter, who was fired in 2000 after the school board alleged he lied about paying a $2,500 fine the board levied for an incident in which he displayed a box of penis-shaped pasta at a staff meeting. Was back in the chicago area for a week long visit and of course couldn't stay away from the areas where I'd take a look around for SWs. I just got back to Chicago and reading the reports the prices keep going up. I was in Baltimore not to long ago and the prices there were still low. 20-30 for bbbj and 40-60 for everything else. Why are we giving up a 100 here? Just curious about other peoples opinions.
