I lived in Portland for 27 years and knew my way around to the best spas for me. Then recently moved to Vancouver and signed up for Rub Maps to learn the new territory. I sadly discovered that 95% of the reviews were from shills or spa owners rating every review at 5 stars. This was a waste of money so if you have some spare change, go see for yourself, as I have.

This was a waste of money so if you have some spare change, go see for yourself, as I have.I am not a member but I have noticed some shops are constantly reviewing providers that do not exist, there are 3-4 shops that are competing to be on the top of the list and shops with large numbers of reviews coming from the same few reviewers I stay away from.

I look at RM and use advance search, it usually provides all the info I need and its free.

As far as getting ripped off at shops I have no problem walking, I will eat the shop fee and move on
