I have never used a VPN or done any attempt to hide my IP. I've been banned from SA before and I did what said to do. I didn't have a problem and did not get banned again. That has been my experience.
The number one thing that they track is your IP address. So doing what MyNickname suggested will only loose you another $90, because the ban will happen shortly after paying..
