Posts: 789Regulated yes, but I wouldn't call it "heavily" so, at least not compared to the draconian requirements of HB 197.

I won't paste in here all the links to the state government websites, but I'll just suggest that one can Google the phrase "Florida regulations for cosmetology salons" and quickly find a good description of the regulatory and licensing requirements. They include such things as "hair must be swept off the floor", "combs and brushes must be kept sanitized", and a host of similar cleanliness requirements associated with a typical beauty salon. There are even certain exceptions for licensing requirements, such as employees engaged solely in "body wraps", or other single service types of salon care.
What you DON'T find in the regulations for Cosmetology Salons are the ridiculous requirements of HB 197 regarding logging of customer names / addresses, or storefront window coverage, or most all of the other aspects of HB 197 that are pretty transparently designed to close AMPs down, or at least make them unattractive to clients.
I'm sure there are as many "ideas" being contemplated by the AMPs as there are AMPs! It's not like they have a union where they can hire a single law firm to lay out an industry wide "work around" to this situation. Some may try (the appearance of) complying with the requirements as written, some may try moving to an Apartment Solution, some may try Cosmetology Licensing, some may try something completely different, and, of course, some will ignore the requirements completely because they may not know any better, or even have highly limited English speaking/comprehension skills (I'm thinking of the very small places for this kind of behavior). Time will tell.

Posts: 647It's an election year. Anything charade that makes it look like they're actually doing something. Easier to get the low hanging fruit than to go after the actual criminals.

Things change frequently there. I try and stay up to speed for my work travels but don't have a trip for a while. You need to check the ECCIE board for Dallas. This sites info is piss poor for that town. But any of them listed that are Asian Stars, K Festival, Blossom K, Greenlight etc. Are legit. One or 2 of those may have gotten shut down? Check ECCIE. All the info you need are in the Studio Posts.

As long as you're not feeling an itch and need the job done right now, the apartment scene is better in my opinion. It is sometimes fun walking in and not knowing what to expect, but its the luck of the draw if you go to a new place or they changed the rotation. But I totally understand if you monger under the radar and can't have a burner phone. Definitely get that.

I planned to post today to ask about the same thing. I have an opportunity to come down for the long July 4th holiday weekend, but am hesitant due to uncertainty around which changes will occur at the first of the month.
Will the AMP hobby as we know it disintegrate? Or will they re-license like the great Dr. Willy mentioned and get around the laws, at least for the short-term (would be amazing)? Will they pivot to a k-apartment model (if they keep the rates the same I don't think I would mind this)? Or will they swallow the new laws and outlaw all extras effective immediately (oh no...)?
Who the heck knows ... if I do decide to come I hope they aren't forcing display of ID to enter LOL that would be so horrendous. I would shed a single tear, then just turn around and walk out in shame. I just hope I can still get a great session for a decent rate. Another horrible decision by the government and it will probably end up ruining this special hobby in FL. Disgraceful.

Met Amy at golden gate spa and she was pretty cute so I figure I'll mention our session.
Legit young she said she 24 and I believe it, small tattoo on shoulder dyed hair she's hot.
The location should also get some props. It's huge here, standalone structure a lot of parking you can't miss it coming on and semoran towards E colonial Dr. Huge stand-alone with a second floor saloon. Loved it.
She was all smiles so GND more like the neighbors hot (legal) college aged girl from next door.
Walked me In and there is no time to waste so we settle and get to it $80 house 1 hr and $160 plus $40 at the end.
She ripped the clothes off of me says a quick hello to jr. And we hop to the shower, fuck this place it huge.
Not much play there so we get out and go back after a thorough wash. She's got a very sexy way about her. Ass is super nice and she's partially shaved with perfect lip ratio.
Excellent bbj, covered mish, cg for a while her moans and fuck me eyes were amazing. During a short break to catch outlet breath, she kept in sucking me and playing wjth the boys I can say she was GFE without trying so hard. Not mechanical and didn't have a scrip. I we resumed in doggy and filled the bag and nearly collapsed from the excitement. On my way out had a chat with the mms and had a chance to get a full tour. Other girls were busy when I came in but I got to meet another hottie I just don't remember her name.
Super unexpected but left me wanting more. Definitely check it out here in my next trip.

Posts: 752I think a "salon" approach would be problematic as well. Beauty salons are also heavily regulated. Heck, even the stylists at Great Clips have to be licensed. However, a Relaxation Lounge approach might work. Of course, they wouldn't serve anything food and beverage related, as that would also require regulation. Maybe a BYOB approach? Make it literally just a place to unwind, maybe karaoke too.

Posts: 789Another Possibility After July 1st
In the St. Petersburg/Massage Parlor thread a member reported (click here to read) that one of the popular Chinese AMPs (Vinca Massage) recently "re-licensed" their business to change from a MASSAGE SPA to a (unregulated and unaffected by July 1st Laws) COSMETOLOGY SALON business.

That "solution" seems pretty transparent though, and I would think that LE would - SOMEHOW - find a way to bother a Cosmetology Salon just out of spite for trying to skirt the intentions of the Massage Spa law.
By the way, Vinca (CLICK HERE) is one of TWO places I know of, outside of Orlando, that provides "Orlando Style & Quality" services, right down to the Naked Nuru Table Showers, TUMA, BBBJ, and two girl options (for only 100 more on top of the 80+160 for an hour), with the other being Eastern Massage & Spa in south Sarasota (CLICK HERE).

Posts: 142If you know of any of these send me a PM with info. I've seen these agencies in other states and was always concerned about how the $$$ vs if what you actually get is what you asked for. At the moment I prefer AMPs, I can't seem to find a reliable utr who's actually attractive. It's always a glammed up picture or they only look nice from certain angles. I'm a face guy and prefer actual petite spinners. If one goes wrong the whole dream is gone.

Posts: 421Seriously. Agencies? Apartments? All that currently exists and are crap. I wonder why the legal system doesn't focus on busting the gangs and crime on the streets. Instead they've got to bust up on a happy ending spot.

I have been to a shit load of AMP's since moving to Central FL and they all have offered a HE. It would be a waste of time to report on all of them to be honest. Too many to list and not hard to find. Stay away from the ones talked about on here because you'll get sucked and fucked instead. Kissimmee, Orlando, Longwood, etc. They are everywhere man!! If you need guidance just mention what part of town you are in and I'm sure others can chime in.

While the pending new rules initially appear to hinder the hobbyist lifestyle, the "Apartment Model" might actually expand our choices.
I've been all over the place and while Orlando has the best AMP by far, the Korean apartment scene in Dallas is the best experience by far. You do loae out on the +100 for doubles which really sucks. But it seems the girls are way hotter and BBFS is offered alot more. It was always in a nice gated apartment complex, easy comms and always on time. You lose the walk in, but I could see ACTUAL pics on the website. I'd text during a work meeting, set up an appt for 7 pm and show up and it was thr actual girl. And most of the time the apartment had a few bedrooms. Often I would see one that morning and go back the next night to a different girl in the other bedroom. If any of them are reading this the ideal setup would be the same thing. Only difference is offering doubles with the other girl staying there. In Dallas, doubles are true DOUBLE the price, but you actually get them both for the whole time. Not like 15 mins or so at the AMP. Best I ever had was in Dallas. Maybe flat rate of 220 for 45 mins? And 375 for 2 girls the whole time?

Posts: 397A-2 Renovations and the July 1 Massage Law Changes
Are there any updates on the supposed A-2 renovations? It is surprising that they would close so abruptly and without notice for renovations and so shortly before the July 1 new massage laws take effect. When Butterfly was closed for renovations there was a visible permit from the City of Casselberry -- a visible permit is required for substantial renovations -- but I don't recall any hobbyist reporting any visible permits when trying to enter the closed A-2.
Its possible the owners anticipated that the whole AMP business model might be due for an imminent change and they are waiting to see which way the wind blows after July 1. Also possible that I am simply reading too much into this sudden closing. Renovations might be underway even as I type this.
The larger question is what will happen after July 1. I think the current AMP business model could shift to the "K Girl Apartment Model" currently popular in many western cities (LA, LV). Hobbyists register with a booking agency and are directed to private apartments for the same AMP services we currently enjoy. An unintended consequence will be, in my opinion, completely unregulated and hidden AMPs with fewer rules than before. Licenses? "We don't need no stinking licenses".
While the pending new rules initially appear to hinder the hobbyist lifestyle, the "Apartment Model" might actually expand our choices. I can see it now: an "Apartment Model" AMP named "Outback" and their slogan is "no rules, just right". Seriously though, I am curious to learn what other hobbyists think might happen to the AMPs after July 1.
