Went tonight (Wed). Very quiet area, stones throw from Crittenden hospital. Met by Lulu 35-40 ish Round faced Korean lady. Kinda stocky but nice. Upbeat music playing.

Gold Star opens until 10 but I was able to call ahead one time and ask if I could come at 11. Lisa was able to stay later and accommodate me. Probably not the case for most places, but doesn't hurt to ask. Just don't leave them hanging if they go out of their way to stay for you.

It doesn't hurt to call and ask. Once, JC turned the lights in the window and lobby off at closing time, but then waited 45 minutes beyond closing, until I arrived. Then again, I was pretty regular and they knew that I would tip them beyond the usual for their kindness. They offered to do that a few times.
