Took the stroll by the triangle yesterday around 1230 and didn't look as dead usual out there. However, your best bet would be in the Washington / Wilkens area off of I-95/695 depending on where you're arriving from. Google Ramsay, Pulaski, Eagle, Catherine and Monroe Street.
