The number is the DC office, prior to this I'd never had anything like this happen nor any run in with LEO either. I read a blog where this has happened to others but nothing came of it. Thanks for the responses!

The number that shows up in your caller I'd can be spoofed. Scammers will often do this as part of their ruse.

First review. Visited a spot that had been there for years but just changed management. Second floor over a nail spa that offers massage too. Chinese 50 ish only one working, average, small body maybe b's. The place now has a door bell and the main door is locked. Went after 5 saw no one in the hall but there is a dance studio on that floor too. Small place clean used to have a table shower but the bed is gone and was not offered. Tables have liners and a fresh one was put on after the visit. Got an hour, did not look at clock going in but the massage which was nothing to write home about was fast. Nothing to indicate a good time and had the feeling if offered it was not going to be good. Got a one hot towel wipe of back and legs. On the flip got a chest rub with chest pressed into my face. Just still was not feeling it, went on to again quick rub of legs towel covering then the killer got a wipe of the chest and legs with same towel now cold. She lifts the covering towel takes a look and ask if I want everything massaged. I politely decline and get a little more time of a head and face massage. Not sure but it felt like 50 minutes maybe total. Said has another girl but was in NY.

Has anyone ever received a call from them?

The only time I received a call from the FBI was for a background investigation of a friend applying for an administration job years ago. I had a heads up in advance so I was expecting it. I also have an in law who works in the enforcement branch of the IRS and says that they never call but contact by mail.

No I haven't. If you have received a call from someone claiming to be with the FBI, you first might want to find out if it's a scam. As an example, I received several calls last year from someone claiming to be with the IRS. Fortunately, I knew from following the news and prior experience with the IRS that such calls were a scam.

If you are indeed being called by the FBI, tell them you need to speak to your lawyer before answering any questions.

If you are indeed being called by the FBI, tell them you need to speak to your lawyer before answering any questions. Other mongers may have more and better advice than I do because I've thankfully had little experience with Uncle LEO in the hobby. Whatever you do, be very careful in discussing any such matters over the telephone.

Just a quick point, Doc. If you're trying to be cryptic in order to fool LEO, he's not fooled by such artifices. What SH was asking for was just a plain presentation of the details (name, location, link) without the cute games. It makes it easier for those interested to verify whether their own experience was the same as yours. Just sayin', but it'll make it easier for your fellow mongers without "revealing" to LEO what LEO already knows.

Note: With regard to UTRs or "unregistered" AMPs, that's a different matter. A more discrete avenue, usually via PM, is advisable in such instances.

Agreed. UTRs are that for a reason and why some will share their info through PM only to senior / established members. Hell, I don't even ask about UTRs because I don't want to bother someone for that info as they may not see me as other well-established mongers.

Though I found the "riddle" a bit amusing, using history to get the info I've actually had it in mind to go visit and for some reason I have a feeling it's at the same spot as Sophie.

Excellent return trip to end out the year.

As I was approaching I thought about how in Japan they only let "locals" enter some places. When I told the Manager who I wanted to see, she once again question me how I knew about her etc. I was worried that I wouldn't pass the screening and get someone else. However once she arrived that was all in the past.

My visits this year were pretty good. The only "downside" was when I wanted a good massage and went to a place that usually negotiates on the flip. I had planned to decline and offer a default tip. Instead I got a excellent massage and on the flip she went to work with no discussion. This of course let me hungry for more, so I had to take a trip to Maryland instead of getting back to work. As Murphy's Law dictates the ladies at the same good massage place on subsequent visits always engaged in discussion after the flip. So when I wanted to talk, they didn't and when I didn't they did!

After reading Angel reports, I found myself in Funfax yesterday. Ivy was available. Fun TS, followed by non-lotion massage, then feather light touching. Wow! Nothing additional to add to previous reports expect to say they are very busy, phone calls, drop ins. Ivy said she'll be there though out the holidays.
