There is NO WAY SA would put up FAKE profiles. They have been around for years and have been one of the top sites for having the real deal. Sites that do that are usually just getting started or are built to be fake from the get-go to steal personal info or $$ That is NOT SA's business model.

There are, however, many fake profiles on there that have only started creeping in over the past few months and they are very easy to spot. If you message them and get a reply you don't feel good about simply block or ignore them and move on to the next. There are plenty of REAL fish in that sea.

What are the clues that tell you it is a fake profile? I've only been on SA since late August so I'm still relatively new to all of this. The ones that I am suspicious of are the ones where all the photos are non selfies and look professionally done / stock photos or the ones with just 1 photo. Also, I see alot of profiles where they are supposedly a student and say "I am going to university". I'm willing to bet they aren't from the states.

That is very possibly a fake profile. I'm convinced many of the profiles are fake and crated by SA employees. They are the ones with just one photo (often looks semi-professional and like a stock image), often skewed at an angle, and one generic short line in the "About Me" and "Seeking" sections.

A possible watch out for this one. She agreed to come to me for 200. We met downstairs in my hotel and talked to get to know each other. We finally decided to head upstairs to my room and had more conversation and a little play. We cuddled and kissed (very good kisses) and I did get a little boob play but she was not ready for anything else. I was totally hooked in thinking she was new at this and just not ready so I bought the story. I was very disappointed that it didn't go any further but again I was deceived that she wasn't ready for anything further and I bought the story. She sent a text afterwards that she would be ready to go further our next meeting and I'm thinking awesome BUT then the next day I get the I need money for my car or it will get towed and I am screwed if I can't pay it etc etc. I figured out I had been had at that point. I refused to send her money (I have never sent money over any electronic means) and I haven't heard from her since. Just beware. She was sweet and convincing up front and I totally bought into her web of deceit. Maybe it was just me but wanted to let why'all know my experience.

I never hand over the cash until after the deed is done. Set expectations about what you want from her before the meet up. I would only pay 1 female for her time, and she better have the following after her name: MD, or Ph. D (Psychatrist / Psychologist).

WTF. I hadn't heard of any going up to your hotel room and taking the money and then not wanting to do hardly anything. I suppose it's not surprising, but just didn't see that coming in this story.

It is a very good reminder that you don't come across quite as many lying, thieving wh*res on SA as we did on BP, but they are still out there in very significant numbers.
