I'm in your same situation. I use Booking.com and book a mid level property (Country Inn or Wyndham) with a checkin of like 10:00 AM and free cancellation til 4:00 PM that day. In case I have to cancel last minute. I've become a regular at a couple of properties. Sometimes they'll tell me there aren't any rooms available. Tell them you'll take any type of room, and usually they'll find something. Usually works for me. I did have one first time property say they had a hard checkin of 3:00. They wouldn't budge. So I had to walk away and cancel that one.

Best alternative I've found so far. And it usually works for me. I'm sure open to other alternatives. Stay safe!

There arent that many listed, and they are mostly by the airport, but you can rent rooms for the day from a few websites. dayuse.com and hotelsbyday.com are two that I know of. You can even reserve rooms without a credit card.

Outside of that, a lot of lower end hotels will let you check in early if they have rooms. I usually check prices online, find a cheap one, and give them a call. If they have plenty of rooms, checking in around 12-2 is usually pretty easy.

I always counter offer with driving to her place rather than she coming my way or pick her up from her house (although I have no intention of doing that). Almost 100% time they go silent.

She was going to host in Stockbridge for 200, but I wasnt getting a warm and fuzzy about her. She was hesitant to send me more pics, but finally sent one. She didn't look much like her posted pics, and only sent a head shot. Anytime they have profile pics that very quite a bit in looks, I always ask for the selfie mirror pic (stand in front of a mirror and hold up a predetermined number of fingers, and take a selfie). Glad I decided to hold off, sounds like a flake.

I haven't had any luck negotiating a deal with any hotel / motel but that would be a great situation if you could pull it off. In general I'm able to pay cash (often less than $100) at lower end hotels and usually on demand and at most any time but the issue is many of these places don't have great reviews and are a bit "sketchy" so the ladies don't want to meet there, most others require at least a credit card for incidentals even if you pay cash. I've found some luck in the $100 to $130 range with places that are either not in favor or doing some sort of renovation, they often don't have a ton of business so they have clean rooms available and are decent enough places to make the ladies feel safe.
