Is this what you guys are used to? I'd think with all the AMPs you have available, competition would make things a little nicer for the customer. In Chicago and the surrounding areas, FS AMPs are rare, but the prices are better and you at least get treated nice.

That is on par for most AMPs here. I moved here from California where the prices are less and service is better. I have gotten to the point that when I go to an AMP I go for 1/2 hour, and when the menu prices are told I tell them what I will pay and what I expect, for them to take it or leave it. There are a few AMPs worth visiting, but not on that side of the valley, however there are a couple latin ones there that are ok.
