I was in Centreville late afternoon Friday and there were no openings at because.

I decided to try River to see if my mileage was better than others. No better, but no worse is what I found.

It was 'OK' - nothing bad. On all fronts. I hadn't expected a TS, so that was OK. The average (ish.) provider had some interesting ideas on what is supposed to be interesting for the finish. MMS answered door in office park area. Door feels a bit 'public' but was answered quickly. I asked who was providing massages, and she said it would be 5 minutes or so.

Rooms standard, pretty clean, towels and tables standard.

Jade Tree has been closed for at least 3 years, so not sure which place you are talking about. There is a new place in building to left of where Jade Tree use to be which is called Healing Touches Therapy and is excellent. The ladies there are Tina, Lily and Michelle. Haven't met an Amy there.

There is also a Sasha there as well whom I had the pleasure of meeting this morning. Nice massage with OTC roaming, standard NOVA with hot towel cleanup. She is Chinese and speaks excellent English. She said she has been working there for three months.

Can't remember my email / login from my previous account, so had to make a new one. Lurked for awhile, made a few posts for places I visited, but lost it all. Oh well.

For those in the Woodbridge area, some quick notes:

- JadeTree on Opitz. Great place. The parking lot can be busy because of neighboring medical offices but otherwise safe. Rooms are private and clean. Two girls, Amy and one who I can't remember. Amy is a 5 on the eyes, 7 on the massage and a 9 on the turn. I've gotten more than the typical NOVA in the past. The other girl is cuter and gives a good massage too, just can't remember the name.

- Eutopia in Minnieville. Been there twice, not sure why I went back. Massage was crummy the first time and there was no HE, not even the hint. The second time (two days ago) was because I was in the area and needed an actual massage. The rooms are not private, in that there is no specific cieling for the rooms. You can hear everything. As in, I kept thinking someone was coming into the room as people walked past. Massage was good this time though but again, no HE. Made it clear but she said they don't do that there. At least the massage was good!

For a legit massage at $60 per hr with a $20 tip, you certainly got more "play" than most places and therapists would have allowed. In addition, she encouraged you to finish yourself (and I'm guessing she would have continued to help in the same way she had been doing) which is also above and beyond what most legit massage shops offer.

I understand your disappointment since most mongers are not into self-service, especially if they are at an AMP where the price is at the level ($80+) where extras should be on the menu (which this one is not). But, from a purely objective perspective, you got more for your $ than the average hobbyist would at the average legit AMP.

So, from the perspective of someone who was horny going in and assumed (or hoped) extras were on the table, you're right to say it was a waste of time. But, from the perspective of someone who is looking for a reasonably priced legit deep-tissue massage, with a little sensuality thrown in at no extra charge, I would venture to say that this place is a good value. At least that has been my experience and I would recommend for anyone looking for that kind of session.

BTW, don't know what comment she made about your weight but obviously something like that is not cool.

P.S. There are other AMPs with reviews and discussions that are not far away from that area. With a little homework and driving an extra 5-10 minutes you would have avoided the frustration of dealing with an unreviewed legit spa.

P. P.S. One final thought is that it's important to remember that in a legit shop a therapist is jeopardizing her job if she gives extras. She may have a family to support and even if it doesn't seem like a big deal to the client to go "that little bit extra, " it's a big deal to her. So that's one more element of perspective to consider.

I have had this numerous times and all were the first time I was there. I went back, saw the same girl and she had no problem helping me out. (Different place than you went to).

For what you paid, sure she told you you had to do it yourself, but you still got a good amount of roaming.

If I understood your post correctly, you paid $120 for the hour? I'm confused because the regular price at that place is $60 for the hour and $90 for 90 minutes. Did you get some kind of upsell? If so, how did that go down? Also, what made you think extras would be available? I've been several times for deep tissue massage and it was pretty clear to me that it's a legit shop. It is true that, if you happen to get a therapist who is comfortable with you, you may get some teasing but that's pretty much it. One strong indication for me that it's legit is because the entrance setup is wide open, without the vestibule and doorbell arrangement used by most HE AMPs.

I'm pretty sure there are no reviews on the oThER site, or discussions in this forum, because I would have noticed. So, just giving credit where due, IMHO it's not a waste of time if what you're looking for is a good deep tissue (legit) massage at a reasonable price (I pay $90 + $20 tip for 90 minutes). FWIW, in the absence of reviews or forum posts, I always assume a new AMP is legit. That way, if I TOFTT and all that happens is I get a good massage, I'm not disappointed. If something more happens, then that's pure icing on the cake.

I saw the strangest sight near the "Health Center" on Richmond Highway in Alexandria. Near Route 1, there was a man in black leaning against a telephone pole aiming binoculars in the general direction of the Health Center. Parked in front of the place was a large pickup with tags and stickers talking about one branch of the military. This place is a dud. They have a $45 hour special but it is just light caressing with no reall massage. An hour of actual massage is $60. There was a little teasing but on the flip she insisted on DIY. I didn't even bother. I have gone twice to two different girls and they both insisted on DIY.
