My 2nd expierence occurred late last night as I was crushing thru Ramsey by the park. It's like I'm starting all over again with my SW Intel. A hair dryer will not get hot enough to kill them, if anything, it might make them move more than they would normally and cause them to run onto / towards you. An industrial heat gun might get hot enough, but could also scorch or burn the mattress and other material. If anything, get some rubbing alcohol and spray it, but then you have flammable material there if any cigarettes are around.

I've got them in my car. Not the first time either. In summer it is easy to get rid of them just rolling up windows and parking in sun.
