Also worth noting that the strains of HPV that cause warts are not the same strains that cause cancer.

    Kissing

HPV itself cannot kill you unless you contract one of the cancer causing strains & it develops into cancer (many times if caught early enough in women, a biopsy can be performed, & if there are cancer cells, they can remove that thru a LEEP procedure).

And to the one stating skin tags are many times associated with HPV. Yea. No. Skin tags are many times associated with pregnancy, hormone changes, weight gain, etc. Now, warts are many times associated with HPV, & can be seen around the genital area. But completely different than skin tags. HPV has been around a LONG time (I learned about it in high school back in 96). It just didn't become "mainstream" until recent years.
Let me clarify what I was saying is it has been called the Kissing Disease because it was known that it was oral was how you can get it. It was a polite way of saying your father, son or boyfriend went down on someone who was a carrier of it. So MD's don't want to come out and tell your mom or wife or girlfrend fiance that you have done that.

Nikki is correct in Everything that she is saying. It sucks for guys who get it in the throat because it is so close to many Lymph node in other glands It makes it easier to spread if you think you got to get a check quick.

    Be safe.

The words are there, for us all to read. And learn. Pay close attention to the words-USUALLY, OFTEN TIMES, Probably. All I can say is, if I see stuff growing, I am not playing in that. Be safe guys and read.

And right now, all across Madison, providers phones have gone quiet and every guy from usasexguide is googling HPV. If you let this sink in, this stuff would scare you more than hepC and HIV.

Nikki you seem like a very intelligent woman and know the subject well. Has this knowledge impacted how you practice? I assume covered even for oral? You can PM if you prefer not to say publicly.

Or you can die from a car accident, pissed off wife when you forget about a anniversary, Valentine's day. Live your life. Be nice to people. Just don't waste it.

Remember when sex was safe, and racing was dangerous? To be clear, I am not an expert. But relaying what my Dr has said about testing, and what I read from several online sites. I also did not mean to confuse anyone regarding hsv. I am aware of the difference, but for men, it is another disease you cannot be tested for with accuracy, from what I have been told. My choice of context was poor. My bad.

When I first heard of HPV a couple years ago, I did a lot of reading. If you see skin tags on her asshole, its a good chance she has it. It could be other things, but. It makes me wonder when a girl on Skip will show you her pussy in a photo, but marker out the butthole. Why? Now HP might be why. All of us have to assess risk and be careful. It sure is hard sometimes though. LOL but Michael Douglas is still kickin, and I bet he is still eatin at the why!! Yeah, it makes ya think Boo!!

I have heard that 1 out of 4 people have herpes. Some never get outbreaks. Makes ya think, huh?

Isn't there a drug you take to help control your outbreaks?

For awhile, insurance was allowing the vaccination up to age 25 (now its pushed on kids when they are 11-12 to protect against the strains that cause cancer). But its also said now that if you haven't been vaccinated before age 20, you've more than likely been exposed anyway & its pointless to get it.
