Cruised by La Casita a couple of times last weekend on a trip through McAllen. For the most part, the wares on display were truly frightening. Did pick up about a 5 and we did BBBJCIM for 40 in the car in a parking lot of some apartments nearby. Dropped her off at the Royal Inn afterwards as she, no doubt, needed a score. Things in McAllen aren't dead, but it's not the liveliest place you'll ever go.

Was in Pharr / McAllen for three days and visited the loves, FJ and TA with no luck at all. Very odd but oh well. Went to Xoticas mens club and it was an okay scene. Only about 8 or 9 girls with above average looks. Stayed for a beer then left. Never made it to Sonora due to the weather was rainy and being parked out at the TA a cab was out of the question. Maybe next time.

Tex Mex is one of the few clubs open during the lunch hour and went around then. About 5 latinas and 1 Americana working and all were decent if not stellar but better than I would normally expect for a day shift. Drinks at this place are ridiculously cheap for a club with domestic beer $2 and wells $3 - even when you buy for the girls. The main floor has good seating and a stage more like a theatre so you have to sit up close if you want to tip the girls. This is compared to a lot of clubs that have more of a runway type of layout. There are two dance options the first of which is $20 dances in the side room. The side room is well lit and has lots of cameras but the girls give good dances and your mileage may vary. The second option is the upstais VIP which is $120 to the house for a private room and includes a mini bottle or bucket of beer. On top of the house fee you need to pay the girl and that's a negotiation between you and her but I believe very strongly that your money will get mileage and there doesn't appear to be any time limit in the VIP (within reason I assume) and there are no cameras. As far as clubs go, this is a pretty good deal with cheap drinks, decent girls and mileage.

Heading to RGV for a couple weeks over the holidays. Any recommendations for playmates?

I'm particularly curious about Studio 54. I stopped in to check it out last year, and the ladies I saw were stunning. However, I was short on cash and never got a chance to get back there before I left town.

I checked out La Casita today around 7:00. Thanks to daylight savings time, I felt it safe to lurk as the sun had set early. I guess the SW felt the same because there were a lot out today, and to my surprise, there were no signs of LEO. There's usually a parked police car nearby due to the new gym nearby, but it wasn't there today. I picked up Michelle, a somewhat old WSW who looks a bit fat but is actually pregnant. Helped her pay for the room and was rewarded. Nice girl but watch out for those hormones.

Visiting family for the holidays. Went down to La Casita area in the early afternoon. Saw a couple of latina SW working Beaumont between 4th and 6th. The younger looking chubby one would rate about a 5 on my scale. Her older looking sexier friend would easily rate an 8. When I turned around to talk to the 8, shed was already gone.

I'm rarely strolling for SWs anymore, but when I last passed La Casita, it had a heavy police presence around. They even put up a tower.

When taking a shortcut to get on the expressway, I noticed an SW behind the Ramada hotel on S. 8th St. I'm seeing a lot more activity around there, so I'm guessing that's where the action moved to. On a regular scale they're are 6 and 7's, but on SW's scale they're 7 and 8's. Just wanted to give anyone a heads up.

One panhandler / SW I hooked up with is staying at La Copa Inn, but I don't see anyone hanging around.
