    Strokers Update. Day Shift

Had not been in a few weeks so wanted to see what was up, particularly with reports of girls with an attitude and potential poor service. Well, there have been some changes. They recently installed some new VIP couches in the back left area of the bar. There's no privacy and the worst part is that they removed almost all of the low top tables in that area which was my favorite spot. I was forced to sit and have my dances at a low top table in front of the DJ booth which I don't care for.

I also got some attitude. It's coming primarily from new girls or from girls that have been in and out in the past. After beginning a dance with a new dancer from Florida I reminded her it was a nude club, and asked could she please remove her thong and place her enormous money bag on the table instead of clutching it in her hand. She stated I was too bossy and walked off in the middle of song 2 without any payment (would have paid her if she had asked). This young lady was Taylor as I recall and she had a twin.

At one point I danced a lady named Monroe. I think she has danced there previously but not for me. Quite odd. Excellent dances, heavy grinding and great visuals. During dance #7 she wheeled around and said "don't do that again". Huh? Yes, you touched or brushed against my pussy and I don't want to be touched there- and you have done it several times. Yes, I probably did brush across some portion of her pussy while I was massaging her inner thigh but it was certainly non threatening and not aggressive in any way. In other words, I've done that a million times without a peep in almost every club I've been to. It's her body so I said let's stop on this song and we did.

The rest of the "regular" dancers that were in attendance seemed fine. Alana gave me her usual good performance and I didn't get a chance to dance Little Bit or Ryder but their stage dances were unchanged as were the table dances I observed. So, I think it's a combination of Covid and new girls creating some attitude. The Covid will likely last longer than some of these dancers. Your not in Florida anymore Dorothy and it will become self evident over time. I will go again, but it certainly it was not a good experience on this trip. There are still pretty and willing girls there but you now have to be more discriminating in who you select which is a pain in the ass. Good Luck.

Follies Farewell Party happened at Diamond

    Late, but here's the explanation:

The former main dayshift manager at Follies is now the dayshift manager at Diamond Cub on Northside.

He organized a farewell party primarily for former Follies staff and dancers (but also customers) to be held at Diamond Club. That party took place Saturday, September 26.

He began announcing it a couple weeks prior on his Facebook page. There was also an "after party" strictly for staff and dancers at Club Zoo.

A snip (cropping out his personal identifying info) of his last FB announcement is attached herein.

He later posted casual photos from the event.

    Not open

The source was credible and even though it didn't seem to make sense I couldn't figure out why she would fib. I went by and sure enough it is closed. Obviously she was smoking crack!

With that out of the way, which is more believable?

    A) For a club that has been closed for months, to suddenly open its doors for a one day pow wow. No indication or promotion on its website, facebook or instagram pages? Just word of mouth from a few dancers.

    B) For a club (say Platimum, Diamonds, etc) in which many of the employees have migrated, in an attempt to further capitalize off the closure of above club, to promote a party in honor of said club? If nothing else, the open club can promote to their current patrons of said event.

See hint for the most likely answer.

The most over the line club I've ever been to was the Platinum Plus in Memphis. I saw live sex on stage. There was lots of sex happening in the VIP room, lots and lots right out in the open VIP. In reading, that was just a normal night at the purple church. I've had a bunch of dancers, but I've never seen that much itc action just out in the open. Memphis closed them down eventually. Follies eventually got closed down, it just was too far over the line. This happens all the time. Guys want more, so they pay up. Girls get more. Bouncers, waitresses, and managers get more tips. This isn't an original story. When it's too far out in the open and talked about too much, you get trouble. A full club at 2:30 pm on a Monday, and people talking about it in internet chat rooms like this, and people raise their eyebrows. I've had sex and offers of sex from a bunch of different dancers, bartender chicks, waitresses, shooter girls, and just about every chick in a strip club possible short of the house mom in various cities. Keep it on the downlow, and it can go on forever. It gets talked about too much and the government comes a knocking. There are plenty of Karens out there that believe that they can force their view of morality on others and don't give a shit about your opinion. And politicians will always side with them in public, and remember votes are public. It is what it is folks. Another club will open up somewhere. Just wait until it does.

P.S. Hopefully the Atlanta area doesn't become like Nashville.
You DEFINITELY don't want Atlanta turning into Nashville. The regulations here make our clubs a joke! Years ago you could go to a different club every night of the week, now there are two!

Cincinnati is a good example of what happens when all these right wing Bible-thumping assholes run amok unchecked with their zealousy and hypocrisy.

Kinda explains why Cincy has been a hotbed of escorting for the past 10 years or so. No matter how many ordinances or laws are passed guys will still need to get a warm mouth and tight giner to relieve their urges. I've been seeing working girls in Cincy since 2009 and it's never that hard to find willing ladies in that town. Dayton had the good strip clubs like Harem and Living Room and others until they recently shut most of them down. Cheeks is still operating but it's a shell of it's former glory. So it looks like Dayton is experiencing a slow painful death just like Cincy when it comes to adult businesses.

Who do you think is getting the best return for their dollar?

With the way the laws, ordinances and regulations are in Atlanta are you surprised these places are closing? Is there any doubt as to why the top talent (mostly) avoids Atlanta?
Veddy well said. I'm a big fan of history, I. E, when Egyptians, Greeks, and then Romans reigned. Money and power have always ruled throughout. Follies was an interest, yet small potatoes per historical references.

Question: What's the best business model for a Follies-type strip club to survive now? Is there one? Just hoping because I hate when Bible-thumpers and LE win over a dude wanting to drain his balls before returning home, knowing his wife won't suck his cock.

    Follies going away party?

While I have zero information other then what is provided on this forum why would they open for 1 day? Do they still have a vaild liquor license? I think it would attract the attention of the local police plus liquor enforcement. Who would want to work 1 day. ? Could they get support staff and entertainment into place for one last party? I don't know just asking. If it does open I think it could be 1 helluva party or a very big shit show. With the second being far more likely. Stay safe.

Yea I agree most residential areas don't want Strip Clubs or any Sex shops around because they know it usually brings crime and drugs into the area. It's funny tho most all of the Strip Clubs in Atlanta are in bad areas anyway.

A six figure guy like me never had problems getting all the titties and pussy I could handle in Follies because I had that mean green burning a hole in my pocket.

There will always be a Follies

There is high demand for the services Follies offered. You can shut down Flashers, you can shut down Follies, etc. But that's not going to change demand at all.

Oh sure, the Karens of the world might imagine Boise, where "strip clubs" involve women stripping down to two piece bathing suits. But it didn't takeout in Boise, and I'm sure there are underground clubs where, god and Joseph Smith forbid, guys hire talent to perform and it's nearly impossible to crack down on.

Atlanta has probably shed its title of "most strip clubs per capita in a major city" but the down and dirty stuff isn't going away. It's just shifting to a more secure location.

Look it all up, that place was a cesspool, and no city wants it anywhere close to them. TT, Wax, Blaze, Goldrush and diamonds are all rocking. I'm all for freedom, but Follies had truly become a dangerous place for customers and their very own staff.
