I'm new here. Sorry if this is somewhere else or it could be a good idea for a new thread.
Anyone planning any trips soon? If so, where? It's great to have fun with guys from Hawaii and go mongering together that way someone speaks your language even if it is only da kine.
So post your plans. Destinations. Hotels. Tips. etc. I know we can check the main WSG for specific spots, but more power to the local boys.
BTW I'm looking for a trip around the 20-27of July.
Too bad I already live here... one problem I see. Most mongers tend to be introverts and I don't think they would be comfortable doing somthing that they probly keep secret even from their families with another person.
This is a good thread. I was thinking about a monger vacation till I realized that I'm not a dedicated monger (heh). With all of the info discovered at WSG, I'd rather keep mongering as an option rather than a goal. I had one good connection through FriendFinder in Japan last year, and had to travel by Shinkansen from Yokohama to Osaka (not cheap) to meet her. From there, we went directly to Kyoto for the weekend. There was another encounter near the end of the 5 week stay. Will return next March.
In the meantime, am lightly considering Bali/Indonesia, Thailand, and PI. Bali is good for a surf and party vacation, but there are little to no listings at FF. Thailand and PI have plenty of FF listings.
Am interested in going to Germany, Russia, or the Ukraine but the airfares are exorbitant, especially for Russia. Germany would be great since I really like German girls, and still have basic conversational skills. Additionally, the train and transportation system is fairly straight forward once you understand the basics (unlike Japan which can quickly become very intimidating). For that side of the world, Russia has the greatest allure. Made friends with a cool and pretty Russian girl in a KB a few years ago (there were 3 working in a bar for a short time). I get a woody just listening to their accented English.
Due to work commitments, I'll be lucky to get in a short dive trip to the Big Island before the end of summer. My style and goals mostly favor the Lone Ranger approach, but it would be fun to get together with someone now and again.

I believe Kay Bee's reply was appropriate. I think 808skorpio set this thread to hookup with other Hawaii mongers on trips to other places like Thailand, Phillipines, or other similar destinations. Thailand is still number 1 in my book. Just my 2 cents.

It's the right thread for sure. It's about Hawaii people going to other places, so we'll be able to compare and contrast other places relative to what we have here. That said, Thailand is great value, but Macau is amazing in terms of quality and selection.

People in Hawaii have an American sub-culture that to a certain extent, sets us apart from the rest of the people in the U.S. Although the International forums are without a doubt the definitve resource on this subject, sometimes it is clearer and more comfortable to communicate and compare notes among ourselves as well.

2650[/QUOTE]You go from Hawaii to Hong Kong, then take a one hour ferry to Macau. I think fares are cheapest September-November, but if you go to Panda travel or some other big travel agent, they usually have cheap airfares all the time.

I can see the reason for this forum but like some one said most monger are loners. I like to go with people who I know personally. My main reason is that I know how my fellow compatriots act under certain circumstances (drunk) and in a fight or flight situation the last thing I need is a closet as*hole when inebriated. When in a foreign country one must consider the criminal element and brushes with the law enforcement.
There are three reasons why I wouldn’t take a trip to the PI as someone mentioned!
1. The amount of political factions (communist insurgents, Muslims, anti government militants) that are active in the PI. Last thing I would want to be is a ransom hostage because I’m American. Of course these factions are geographically dispersed so the threat level is dependent on where you are going.
2. One of my friends temporarily lived in the PI and said if he had to choose between the PI or Thailand he said that Thailand is better.
3. I you happen to be of the Japanese persuasion (hapun) I wouldn’t think the local population has of yet forgotten the atrocities the Jpn army did there during WW II .. LOL
Just my two cents but I can see why a person would like to got mongering in a foreign land with a fellow local since you can talk pidgin and even English speakers wouldn’t understand what the hell are your talking about.
I hear that Mexico and south America has some action going on too.

I know the ferry from HK has been well covered in the world board, so I'm just looking for cheap fares from here to HK or all the way to Macau if there are any package deals forom Hawaii.

Well, I am considering a trip to Thailand at the end of Sept. to do some site seeing, watch some muay thai, drink singhas, monger, etc.
PM me if anyone is going around then or you got suggestions. This will be my first time there. I will primarilly go to train mt, probabally at a real commercial gym like fairtex in the morn and afternoon and then see the night life. Maybe a week long trip. Can some of you guys give me the breakdown on expenses. I beleive I just saw art from HIIA (hon) to thailand around $445. Hotel? Taxi? Site seeing? Food expenses?
At the moment I am planning this solo. Have many of you gone there solo and felt safe and have a good time?
I will likely read a few travel books on Thailand, read the thread on Thailand trips, maybe even listen to a few high speed language courses for fun.

Prices are really cheap for everything, food, hotel, and ladies. You can get a decent deal on Priceline. I never felt like it was dangerous and went to Lumpini, Patpong, Sukhumvit, Ratchadapisek. The only bad experience I had was with taxi drivers trying to rip me off and tuk tuk drivers. The women are beautiful and most speak enough English to take care of business. Stay a couple of days then go to Champing town in Donguan South China if you think Macau was Disneyland then champing is Super Disneyland (you willneed a interpreter who speaks canton and Mandarin) Next trip I will bypass Macau and go straight to Champing.

I'll second the vote for Changping. For Chinese women it's amazing. Not only are they young, hot and affordable, they're very well trained sexually. I like Macau because of the selection. Lots of hot Chinese, Thai, Viet, with some Russian / Korean / Japanese / Mongolian thrown in. Most of the places in Macau you can get by speaking English, but in China, you really have to be able to speak a little bit of Mandarin. Macau is a lot more expensive, though.
Had the option to go on a short trip at the beginning of Sept, but decided to buy a few expensive toys instead. Am going to Vegas in early Oct. We'll see what happens after that.

I've mongered in Beijing, Tianjin, Guangdong, Hongkong, and Seoul. I would have to say that my favorite place is hongkong. You don't get much better service than that anywhere else in the world. Except for Korea. Those two places had the hands down the most attractive women I have ever seen or had. Though in korea the girls pad their bra's alot more than the chinese. HK and Tianjin were the best places for me as I can speak some mandarin. And you can get the best bang for your buck (pun intended) too. Actualy the best I've had though was in Guilin in the hotel I stayed in. Beautiful young and pitite. Natural lage Bs. Real GF feel. And she did an amazing Cowgirl. If I was staying longer I would have repeated every night. 400 rmb st. Not sure on lt but I am sure it was availiable. Too bad I was traveling with guys I don't know. Another friend of mine on the trip fell in love with his girl. He had her twice. It was the GF feel that did it for him. Much better he said than stuff here in hawaii.
So in short I would say that you should get yourself down to HK, Tianjin, (China in general), or Korea (more expensive)

All you need to do is go to Jackson's International site. There's way too much info on Bangkok, HK, China, and Korea to fit on one page. You can write a book on it. Once you go to Bangkok, Macau, Shanghai, etc. you will never see the hobby the same way again.

Guilin is in the southern part of China, while Tianjin is next to Beijing in the North east of China. Tangu is the place that you want to go to in Tianjin, it's a port city. Tons of fun to be had. Cheaper by far if you speak the language. Don't know for sure, but at the amps/spa's that I go to they will probably charge you more if you look like a foreigner and don't speak the language. Actually they don't speak any english so you're kinda screwed if you don't speak mandarin. I always go with my Taiwan buddy makes things easier. Though he usually lies about being Taiwanese and says he's from HK if they ask (due to political situation). Had a friend almost get into a fight becaue they said that Taiwan was Taiwan and not a part of China anymore. I know of a place in karaoke place in beijing where you can take the girl home for 1k rmb. Not bad selection. All young. There was also a place next to IKEA that you could get BBBJCIM along with a sensual massage. But not sure if it's still around. You could get a Icy hot and Poison Dragon. Not bad if you never had it before.
In any part of China fun can be had at night by looking for barber shops with pink/red lights inside or outside. That or if you look like a foreigner someone will approach you while you walk. Speaking the language here really will cut the cost if you find anything. Walking by major hotels at night will get you enough attention, though be warned that they may not all be lagit and try to cheat you.

The only part that's bad about Japan is it's hard to get into a good place if you don't speak Japanese and even harder if you're not Japanese.

Anyways, I was looking for someone to go to Southern China (Duong Guan) with and who speaks Mandarin, or it will be the " blind leading the blind". Actually I have been there and know lots of places to get girls, but I can not speak Chinese, so that's going to make it hard to have a fun time there. Plus, I kind of don't like partying alone. Kind of boring.
O wouldn't mid going anywhere in China, but I like Dong Guan, because there are really beautiful girls there. Like age from 18 to 24 the oldest. And the quality is like a 10. Wow, Phillippines, never been there, but heard stories and read books. I've been mongering only in HK, China, Vietnam, and Thailand. If anyone wants tips about Vietnam and China, I can help since I've been there lots of times.
If I could get off of work I'de go with ya. Done a bit of mongering in China and Hk too. It does help to speak mandarin. Usually do it with my Taiwanese buddy, as he's fluent. We mostly were in Beijing and Tianjin though. I miss the cheap good service that you can get in china and HK. It's just too dang expensive here.

HK is kind of expensive, why go there, when China is right next door? Dong Guan is a great place. I think the area I was in is called Chang Ping. Lots of HK people go there for the weekends to party so prices are on the higher side, yet cheaper than HK. The good thing about that is that there is a lot of supply there, since demand is high from the HK customers.
