I guess this is one of the many new features of this software - and a welcome one!
I enjoy the dialog in the forum but I'm not an AMP person, I'm only into the street scene, so a more focused discussion will be perfect.
So I'll start the dialog now that Hizark has started the forum.
It's been DEAD lately. I was hoping with the warmer temps of the last few weeks they'd be out in drones.
Three nights ago, I found a prospect on Boulder south of Tropicana on the west side of the highway. I slowed down and she gave me the wave, but when I pulled around back she ignored me. I didn't want to pick up on Boulder out in the open, so I figured the alley was better. Guess she didn't agree. Or maybe it was her pimp?
I'm not exactly new to the street scene, but I've never picked up a girl when her pimp is nearby. What's the protocol? Do I try to get her to get in the car? Talk to the pimp first? Sorry for seeming like newbie questions, but after years of dealing only with girls, I've just never had the experience dealing with pimps and I'm too old to fumble my way through it.
My usual cruise is Tropicana/Industrial, then east on Tropicana all the way to Boulder Highway. South on Boulder and U-turn at Jokers Wild, all the way to downtown, shop Fremont area. Every now and then this old boy will head north into the area usually the topic of the TV show COPS: Las Vegas. I don't know why, I'm not into strung out SW and have never picked up from up there. Back to downtown, I shop Fremont again, then south on Boulder and west on Sahara. I have found girls walking the areas in front of the car lots on Sahara. I continue down to Paradise and U-Turn. There's a shopping center with the Green Door and I've had low-moderate luck in the surrounding neighborhood. Back to Boulder, U-turn at Jokers Wild again, and then I return down Tropicana to Industrial, look around some more and then on to home. It's a good 70-80 mile drive. Driving 70-80 miles and not finding anything just frustrates me. 70 miles of road that used to pay dividends and now you're lucky to find ANYTHING, let alone a cute one.
Anyone else with this level of street frustration? Wish me luck I'll be out there tonight.

Last summer I used to stop at Tacos Mexicana on Trop about 3am and when pulling out going west there would be this BSW (5'6"ish, nice shape) who didn't look too bad. Just wondering if anyone knew her and what her scene was. She actually looked too good for the area IMHO.
Still looking for 2 SWs in the DT/Main St. area. One is Katie, a young, kinda short WSW from Maryland. Very cute, used to hang near Main and Fremont and stay at the Plaza on occasion. Couldn't find her on my last few trips there. Don't know if she went back home, got locked-up, or worse.
The other is Jamey, a LSW, who hangs out on that street just north of the bus station in DT, three blocks north of Fremont. Picked her up at the 7-11 just north of the freeway, across from the taco place. She was staying a couple of blocks west of there, by Main. A little chunky, but very cute and very cool, with nice, big t*ts. She was living with her mom, who may also be a LSW, but not sure. Haven't been to Vegas since I last saw her. Hope she's still around.
On your question on picking up a SW when her pimp is around, I would have to say I never would even consider picking a girl up when her pimp is around. And definetly never would want to talk to the pimp first, chances are to high of getting robbed, mugged, beat up, or killed. Also her pimp could very well be mister LE and your now under arrest. Those are just my thoughts.
Gnome Out..
I agree with the Gnomester. Particularly in terms of letting him in your car. That said, I've had a few good finds thru the dudes/thugs/pimps. But it's always been thru my on-foot forays. Seems like some of the guys are psyched just to get the gal out of his room for awhile! Actually had one bsw come back to my room at 8am, after a midnight session, for some more, and didn't even ask for more cash! It's definitely hit or miss tho. My standard line with the dudes is...damn, where's all the bitches at? I will admit that the quality I've found this way has been a bit lacking.
Overall though, I agree that it's kinda slow out. LE has been fierce downtown. I'm not a car guy though, so don't know about lots of the other areas.
Well. I'm from Germany, usually stay in Vegas for some days in every year (to visit friends etc.). From what I`ve experienced - thats maybe a good info for all the other outsiders - the strip is hit or miss at it's best. Last year (in Spet.) I just watched one blonde girl with big titts at Mandalay Bay. It was already late and she was quickly approached by security. The rest of the night (it was Saturday !) - nothing. Well, I don't gamble that much, more walk and watch the strip/people...so maybe that's the reason ?!?
The year before I had kind of good luck. I stayed in one of the cheaper motels right across Luxor (they closed it in the meanwhile). And I tell ya: 3-4 girls (just average) stayed in the hotel and I was approached several times, good prices (60-80). One girl (6 of 10) had beaten them all by desperation - she needed mondy to go back to Detroit and gave me a fuck for 30 bucks. Maybe someone knows "Sassy"...she was kind of the leader of these girls....
So I think: To walk the strip is senseless, isn't it ? Maybe if you stay at some cheaper motels (near the strip), you'll have more luck. All the other areas are a big no-no for greenhorns, too dangerous.

Walking the Strip can sometimes be fruitful, particularly the pedestrian bridges on the South end. And, if you feel like a greenhorn and think there's lots of danger around lower income areas, then no, don't go there. Some folks in these areas can smell a scared rookie a mile off...
Was in vegas for business last week. Since I rented a car I did a lot of hunting. It seems that Vegas has cops on foot, on bikes, in suv's, and even on horses. I was in heavy traffic at the intersection of Sahara and the Boulder highway. While the light was red, LE rode between the cars looking down at your lap. I guess they were trying to catch cronic wankers.
It was about 5 PM. Nothing on Sahara, nothing on BW until the Budget hotel across from Sam's Town. About 10 SW's were working the area then returning to the motel. I pulled in and parked at the motel just to see if there was anything worth picking up. Nothing above a 4. Most were O's. I never saw one picked up. I was not surprised. They might have some luck after dark, with someone who is risking a DUI. Continued south on BH and just after the 4 aces I saw a nice thin tall blond (7). I came back to get a look at her face and she looked young and decent, at least a 7. But I was reluctant to pick her up right on the highway in full view in broad daylight. I found a place to pull in and wait, but she never showed. Returned west down BH and on to Freemont. Many fat BSW's until crossing the street in front of me was two dudes and a hot black girl (7) who gave me a huge smile. I thought one pimp is bad enough, but two? So I headed down LVB and worked the streets behind the Stratosphere. Saw a nice petit blond (8) in white pants walking south. She turned right (heading west) on Charlston and I was going to pull up and stop in front of her. It was now dark and not a lot of traffic. Then I looked in my rear view mirror and saw a marked LE car right behind me. Needless to say, I drove back to my hotel to calm down.
After about an hour and a smoke, I headed down to the Hard Rock Cafe and did soom Cruzing around the area. Spotted at least 4 or 5, 7-8's, but was unable to get in the right position due to all the dam traffic. Went to the full service strip club and got a HJ.
What the boy's in blue are looking for when they look at your lap are to see if you have an open container between your legs.
Be careful if anyone D&D in Vegas.
Two Nutts
In an area that has been dead for a while, i spotted a cute wsw on Sierra Vista between Swenson and D.I. I just don't like to pick up sw's any more, but I still like to look around if its not too far out of my way. I was on my way home and I passed by this girl and she gave me the "look." I turned around to get another look and she looked at me and shrugged her shoulders. I would bet anything that this was good p4p material. She was wearing loose jeans and a striped sweater and had headphones on. She looked a little bit in need of a shower or some form of clean up, but i've definately done worse. It's good to see things picking up. I'm hoping some day the streets of Las Vegas will be like the streets of Tijuana (yea right, but one can dream).

Thanks for the advice on pimps...seems like some of the better looking girls can be found only near pimps, guess I'll just have to skip out on that treat. Plenty more to be had...
I'm going to check out Sierra Vista this weekend...if that previous poster is right this could get interesting, that used to be a good area.
TJ
SLightly off-topic but pimpy related and pretty funny.
In the early 80's a few of us from work hit one of the joints on Fremont. Wasn't the Atomic - might have been the Sundowner or Odyssey. The one guy we all never would've thought of doing this walks up to this one BMA of relative "street" influence & the BFA he was w/ at the bar and says, point blank - verbatim, "How much to fuck your old lady?". The BMA looks in amazement and replies "Say WHAT?!!!".
While the rest of us were discussing:
A-who would match up better after the fight/riot began
B-which one of us would be the last one out the door
our buddy worked a deal for $20...
I did not drive down Sierra Vista today after work as I was headed another direction. I think the fact that the street is not under construction anymore may increase the presence of sw's. There was a day and time when this was a good area (also around the Swenson and Twain areas and side streets). As always, watch out for the scum sucking LE.

I learned of a new (to me) SW area all the way north up Las Vegas Blvd. through the city of North Las Vegas on the edge of Nellis Air Force Base around the triangle of north LV Blvd, Craig Rd, and Nellis Blvd. I'd never thought of going that far north until I saw an article in the Sunday Review-Journal provoked by a few local citizen activists. The R-J just might be the second most useful and accurate paper in the country for things that really matter to me, right after the Daily Racing Form. It's full of consumer friendly news I can use.
Here are a few selected excerpts from the May 1st R-J piece starting on page B1:
Jim Ferrari knows when it's lunchtime.
At 1 p.m. nearly every day, he says, the same hooker shows up on the sidewalk to solicit customers leaving the Mexican restaurant next to his car wash.
"It's the same people every day. It's the same prostitutes all the time," Ferrari said.
"It's been taken over by the homeless, the crackheads, the crack dealers, the prostitutes and the pimps. I have decided to do something about it. But, if that doesn't work, I am going to sell."
Harry Drake, owner of Harry's Dora Maria Restaurant, on the corner of Craig Road and Lamont Street, just west of Nellis Air Force Base, said he sees cars come and go at the crime-ridden Craigmont Villas condominium complex across the street.
Drake says some are buying drugs and others are looking for inexpensive prostitutes...
Craigmont Villas is one of the top three problem areas for police officers at the Las Vegas police Northeast Area Command. Police responded to calls at the complex 39 times in February.
The homeowners association at the complex has established a Neighborhood Watch group and has a security guard patrol the complex six evenings a week. The group is also considering setting up security cameras around the parking lot, said Shirley Jessup, secretary of the Craigmont Villas Homeowners Association.
Meanwhile, police have conducted sting operations at the complex and set up surveillance from rooftops of nearby businesses. But the crime hasn't stopped because the prostitutes and street dealers see the police coming or they disperse at first sight of a patrol car, residents of the complex said.
"The prostitutes patrol up and down all day, and they have a signaling system. When the police come on the property, you can hear the airwaves crackle with the cell phones," Jessup, 72, said. "They are blatant about it...
Complete article with a few photos and a very helpful map available from the Review-Journal online at:
http://www.reviewjournal.com/lvrj_home/2005/May-01-Sun-2005/news/26386338.html
Naturally, after reading this with my afternoon coffee I wasted no time hustling out there to find some of those "inexpensive prostitutes" who are getting the locals so lathered up, and the R-J's reporting did not disappoint me, as there were indeed plenty of sensibly priced hookers all around the area.
Sunday night about nine I started seeing working ladies as soon as I got north of Pecos Rd. In the blocks north of Pecos before Cheyenne Rd I saw one BSW and one HSW on the east side of LV Blvd. Continuing north then turning left onto Craig Road westbound just before reaching the edge of Nellis AFB I saw several more, and in about 45 minutes of shopping I saw SW activity all around Craig Rd and Nellis Blvd in the area to the west of LV Blvd.
The Four Aces bar seemed to be a particular hot spot. This is not to be confused with the Four Aces on Boulder Highway, which is sometimes a good spot to find a few trailer-trash tweaker gals. This Four Aces on Craig Rd plays hip-hop instead of Led Zeppelin on the jukebox and has housing project tweakers of a darker persuasion. In general I found the SWs in this area to be about eighty percent chocolate flavored, twenty percent jalapeno, and no vanilla. That suits my taste just fine, since I consider most blondes to be overpriced, overrated, overweight, lazy, and just generally a pain in the assets.
I finally settled on Nicole, a tall trim leggy black Puerto-Rican SW in a very nice short summer dress. She is twenty and is from San Diego, but comes up often on working vacations seeing relatives who live in the nearby housing project. She wanted a ride to meet Benjamin Franklin. This isn't the Strip or even San Diego honey, even if you do have a nice dress, and I usually prefer to introduce local girls to Andrew Jackson. We quickly agreed on the virtues of the administration of Ulysses S. Grant. She actually looked even better after losing that dress (no kids) and she was far above average in both skill and work ethic, and I thought her attitude was really pretty sweet for a pro. I was amazed to suddenly realize that she'd forgotten to collect her gift in advance. How often does that happen in Vegas? I was quite pleased with her and happy to remind her about Mr. Grant afterward. I don't give digits, so don't ask.
On Monday night about ten I made another trip out to the same Nellis/Craig triangle. On the way I saw an apparent HSW being shadowed by a NLVPD cruiser with it's lights blacked out on the east side of LV Blvd near the Opera House. On reaching the chocolate desert triangle I saw some major Metro activity (this is in unincorporated Clark County) in the parking lot of the Four Aces, and I don't like to get in the way of our civil servants performing their duties, so I haven't yet been inside the place. Swinging around on Nellis Blvd I scooped up Laqueesha or Shaneesha or whatever she was. She wasn't the lean leggy type that I prefer, but she did have a nice firm body, and after she expressed a desire to find three Jacksons we settled for half that. She did a fine job.
Happy hunting; be safe.
Regards
Wastrel
Wastrel,
Heading up there next month. Been a while since i've picked up a SW. Nice to know a different place to check out. Usually stuck with the usual places the last time I was there, mainly Fremont and all the way down Boulder Hwy. Got lucky with one from Arkansas last August, which was the last time I was able to pick up a SW. Got to check out the Sierra Vista block as I got lucky about two years ago there.
Thanks for all the info, keep it coming.
Phat gman
An area (up by Nellis/Opera House) that's rich with tradition and history. I wish they would just clean the cracks up a bit and leave the driving to us.
Well my friend Wastrel,
You have let the cat out of the bag. This has been my secret trolling area for some time now. I tried to tip off the guys on this board to this area a few months back. I have found this to be one of the last gems for decent bargain hunting. I usually visit only during daytime hours (as my office is close by). The girls in the area seem to be A LOT different than the typical Freemont HO. They are just trying to pay the rent and require much less maintenance. Lets try to be a little more low key. Maybe this secret spot may just survive.
LVW
Wastrel did not let any cats out of the bag. I have known about this area, just that I live near the 215 and Durango makes it very inconvenient. I have a friend in the Air Force who told me about one of the low ranking officers getting dishonorable discharge for solicitation in that area. The fact that it was in the paper lets the cat out of the bag more than anything.
On another note, I wish I had some better news regarding Sierra Vista. I cruised down that street the last three days and saw nothing twice and a disgusting fat bsw on Thursday. Next month I'm off to TJ.

Don't sweat it Whitey, like bozo said, the RJ article could/might have a lot more impact than a few mongers cruising around. Saturday's tour included sightings on Trop/Industrial, Industrial and Stardust, LVB and 10th or so, and of course Fremont. Weather's warming up, and the outfits are getting skimpier. Gotta love it!
...this secret spot...
I sympathize, as I did sort of get the feeling that the handy color coded SW map and guide leading page B1 above the fold of the R-J would draw more public attention than any of us might wish, but you never know, maybe everyone in Metro just reads the Sun and the Racing Form these days. It appears that they've been patrolling it pretty hard for quite a while, in any case, and I would definitely want to use all the most discrete SW cruising precuations up there, as well as be very wary of some of the not so neighborly hoods hanging around a few of those housing projects and watering holes in the wall.
...wish I had some better news regarding Sierra Vista.
The last time I was successful in that neighborhood was about three or four weeks ago when a BSW walking on Sierra Vista toward Swenson flagged me down ONLY becuase she knows me and recognized me. I asked her about things in the 'hood and she confirmed my impression that Metro has actually been somewhat successful in suppressing a lot of the gang activity there. I find this amazing, since it is very hard to uproot that crap once it gets started.
On the other hand, she said she hardly goes out at all these days becuase she is afraid for her safety from unafiliated young street thugs committing stupid violent acts for dope money after she was robbed at gunpoint while getting into a taxi at the 7-11 a few weeks before. This is a very streetwise black woman in her 30s who is afraid to go out of her apartment, but I think she was feeling pretty traumatized about having a gun suddenly stuck in her mouth a few blocks from her home. For whatever it's worth, that's what a local resident had to say.
What I wonder a little bit about the streetwalker buisness is the obvious no-meaning of the world wide web. I mean I can understand that many of them are poor and stuff, but I think everybody of us looks first for the clean college/student girl coming to Vegas to make some money etc. So why - at least some - streetwalkers don't have email-addresses where u can make contact?

You can have good luck at many of the casino bars and on the strip.
I have tried to stay away from the other areas just because of the amount of LE presence lately. If you don't mind walking between the MGM and Bally's can really pay off too. Stay away from the Barbary coast though. For some reason they don't seem to care about the pimps that congregrate in front of their hotel, and so there seems to be a lot of them there.
The other plus to hanging out on the strip is the occasional chance that you may hook up with a regular girl who was looking to get lucky in the club and didn't. A few weeks back I was able to hook up with a girl that had a major fight with her boyfriend and wanted payback. Maybe a little risky in hindsight, but I am a big enough guy and she was hot enough to risk it.
I have had the best luck hooking up between 3am and 7am, and the better odds are always on the weekends between Fri. and Mon. morning. Just don't go spending more than $1.5 or you will ruin it for us locals. Don't be afraid to negotiate, especially as it gets later and there are more girls walking around.

That sure would be nice, but I agree, have never seen it. Bottom line, most of the SW's, at least that I've been around are typically crack ho's. Even those with phones only have minutes on them half of the time or so.
Now, if you bump up to the 100-200 range, there's gals with both phones and sometimes email.
Just my observations...
Haven't been to town for awhile. Coming back soon. Is the Atomic open?
My understanding is the Atomic is open but not into the wee hours of the morning. I think they close at 10pm nowadays.

Might be 11 or 12 on Friday and Sat nite. Not at all like the old days, I'm told. I've lately been having a lot more luck in the Western, Fremont St, or Ogden. Gold Spike is trying to clean up, but it still has some action, if you can get past the initial 'hello' stage...
There was a great post in the forum from last year I believe, that pretty much detailed the how's & why's of the change in the Atomic.
Man - that used to be a great monger spot back in the day!
Now, if you bump up to the 100-200 range, there's gals with both phones and sometimes email.
I just got back from the strip, paid a bsw $40 for a HJ, that's all I wanted. She was okay but I think I will upgrade now. I met her just north of the Strat. but when I was going home south on the strip, I saw some quality but wondered if they would get in my car like the northern girls do.
I am willing to pay 1.0 to 1.5 for a beauty but where do we do the dirty deed? They are looking for hotel room work.
Haven't been to town for awhile. Coming back soon. Is the Atomic open?
Tasha,
Sort of open, but not alive.
On 10-07-03 I made a somewhat long and detailed post about the semi-demise of the Atomic. You may find it useful, but not cheerful, as the situation remains unfortunately unchanged since that post. You can find it under "2000-2004 General Reports" and it is post #714 there. Or you can just click on my name to display other reports by Wastrel and you will find it within the first two pages of my posts. I think it might have been about my third post on this forum.
I was quite (strangely) fond of the place, but there's not much point in going there now. Here's a few very brief excerpts from what I reported in October of 2003: "...But a few weeks ago it was forced to shut down for a while for the first time in the history of Las Vegas following a police raid. It is now reopened for limited hours, closing at 10pm. CLOSING AT TEN! What in the hell is Vegas coming to?...What the Atomic has come to is that about six months ago the crusty old ex-navy night bartender who ruled the place with an in your face take no bullshit attitude, and who had the respect of the street characters who scuffle around downtown, retired and relocated to a hot tub full of nubile young chicas in Brazil...At four am the local working girls used to drop in for a few stiff drinks to relax after a hard night of loitering on nearby streetcorners...But after the bartender who knew the street so well left, it gradually degenerated...[into] the kind of [drug gang] scene that would scare the hell out of tourists from Santa Monica or Scottsdale driving by on their way to the downtown casinos up the street, so finally a few weeks ago Metro Police Dept. raided the place and hauled more than a dozen people to jail. They took pity on the kindly old gentleman who owns the place and let him stay in business, but on a short leash..."
My understanding is that old Joe, the owner, is basically land banking the property, just staying in business without any real cash flow, guarding the cocktail olives to make sure nobody takes one without paying, to hold on to it on the speculation that he might make a killing when downtown redevelopment washes down Fremont. That's how he got rich in the first place, making his nut on a piece of "worthless desert scrub" near a highway many years ago that is now part of the Las Vegas Strip.
Regards,
Wastrel
P.S. Oh yes, it is now open later than ten on weekends. Till the ripe old hour of eleven. Not that you'd really be able to tell much of a difference between open and closed there now.
What kind of reaction should I anticipate if I meet someone and the south end or one of the higher-end casinos, suggest that she accompany me to my hotel via the parking garage or valet parking, then take her to my off-strip room, which is usually someplace like one of the Station properties, Terribles, Sams Town, or maybe Tuscany or San Remo? Is she likely to accept that as part of the deal? or expect extra compensation? Or?
Yup - Wastrel's post was the one I remembered. Thanks for posting the info, Wastrel.
Thanks Wastrel. Sorry to hear about the Atomic. I liked that joint too. Any replacement suggestions?

Closest I've come to that scenario was a gal going from one of the Boulder Hiway bars [4 Aces area] to Fiesta Henderson, about a 5 mile/15 minute drive. She was fine with it, better than the front seat. Guess my only suggestion would be to be up front about it, chicks don't like surprises any more than we do!
...Any replacement suggestions?
I've been looking and hoping for one for well over a year now. Seems like they must have gone somewhere, right? Or did all the denizens of that establishment run right over to the Jesus is the Answer Church down the street and get saved?
I saw mention of the Four Aces, but couldn't find a thread. Is that the kind a place an out-of-towner should stay out of? think I read pretty interesting activities around noon or happy hour? Anybody know the story?
I saw mention of the Four Aces, but couldn't find a thread. Is that the kind a place an out-of-towner should stay out of? think I read pretty interesting activities around noon or happy hour? Anybody know the story?
Depends on which Four Aces. Probably won't shock you to learn there's more than one watering hole by that name in Vegas. I know of two that have been mentioned here, one on Boulder Hwy. and another on Craig Road near Nellis AFB.
I'm guessing that you're thinking of the one on Boulder. A visitor in town would have no problem going in there, except for the danger that you might waste some gas and get bored if you don't find anything going on. I’m not there often, and when I go in at night occasionally there is usually nothing there, but once in a great while there have been a few trailer park tweaker types who are available. I've never been there in the middle of the day. It is just a neighborhood tavern type place that happens to be near some cheap apartments with some trailer parks and rent by the week type places and such in the area. There is a very similar place nearby called the Stadium Saloon that has a laundromat attached, and it has been referred to as "The Speed Queen" by another poster in the past.
The other Four Aces up at the far north end of town is a lot more lively, but most tourists would feel very nervous about going inside in my opinion. When I was up that way last time several days ago paramedics were pulling into the parking lot with a bunch of young men in baggy pants with their hands in their pockets standing around looking at the sky. I suspect that somebody had an unfortunate accident involving a knife or something and nobody saw nuthin‘. About every third time I go by there is some police activity in the parking lot.

Yep, that's the one i was thinking of. Wastrel, as always, is spot on with his characterization. I've personally had totally zero luck in there, but have scored twice in the parking lot of the Stadium! Totally bizarre. Just timing. Last time i was in that neighborhood i had a fun couple of beers in the Centerfolds tittie bar. I enjoyed that there was no cover, beers were like 3.75, not bad, they were playing old rock that brought back fond memories [old Zepplin], at a volume that you could easily talk thru without shouting, and that the girls were pretty friendly. I had one half talked into coming back to my room when some big meathead just butted in.
