There are other threads like this around the forum, Cincy has The Octagon, Detroit has Motor City Madness, in Boston it's The Massholes. In keeping with Orlando's main identity I thought Melee at Mickeys Castle was appropriate. You guys might think it's lame as fuck, if anybody has a better idea, feel free to suggest it.

There are a different set of rules in here. I won't redact fighting, you can call each other cocksuckers, stupid motherfuckers, whatever you want but no hate speech. The words, nigger, spick, kike, jap (but not Jap.) dot, ect. or any use of words intended to be racially or ethnically derogatory are still not allowed.
No posting real personal info. Mostly what you can do it argue. What this means of course if there is ZERO tolerance on the review threads for that now. Normally it takes one infraction for a regular member to get put on permanent moderation and two for a senior to go back on. In Orlando now that number is the same for both, 1.

I don't really understand the need for this, but since we are allowed to argue here, then so it is. I read this forum almost daily and the only problems I have seen are newbies asking for recon and maybe, just maybe one thread being a little dominated by one guy, not that I didn't enjoy reading my classmate Jags prose. But that possibility is moot thanks to the awesome Sandbox.

Back to main point. Anything Disney is anti-sex, hence, makes any central Florida monger puke, (shows admin ain't from around here). So new name definitely in order.

Just a few thoughts.

Frank asks why the need. Well, in my travels I found one of these in another city and participate in it enough that the members have named me an honorary member of their no holds barred, gloves optional thread. It is often useless banter but other times a place where guys and girls can just let off steam. The Orlando forum is unique among cities. There is a whole lot of good intel and generally guys that offer good help for each other.

The issue with newbees. Yeah, it used to annoy me but I have changed my ways. I now really try to encourage newbees to RTTF, TOFTT and earn their stripes but also do share some basic intel without giving away the farm or doing their homework for them. I want this forum to grow and I want A2 to make a shit load of money doing it so it remains free to us deadbeat mongers and hobbyists. Actually, I find it amusing that one girl that none of us has ever experienced now has no less than five stellar reviews on here and a couple on the oThER site by people with no other reviews. What a stupid marketing plan. Wouldn't it be better for her to have just contacted one of us trusted SM types, whatever that means, and given a freebee for an honest review?

The dominating tread thing sort of is fixed.

In following up with AO's post let me add somemextra Kerosene. The big issue is why in the hell are we even thinking of seeing someone who stood us up? Yeah, I know little head has dibs on the steering wheel, but the final call rests on big head, otherwise might as well go ahead and hit a med-special with a side of BBFS. Of course we need to use some judgement as we are all human beings and unexpected issues turn up.

That said, the door swings both ways, and some of us are irresponsible, making appointments spur of the moment, fueled by little head only to cancel time and time again. And yes I used the word us as I am the first to admit to it. My schedule is crap, and yet I made some appointments thinking I could 'barely' make it. I felt like shit, and deserve the harsh words I earned from amfriend for that douchery. So I guess what I want to say is that we need to keep our etiquette and manners in check, expect good service, starve the bad ones, and clean up our game. I for one learned my lesson in that department.

Count the number of SP ads you see on BP, CL, the web, this site, etc. There's probably hundreds of gals out there competing for monger coin. You would think that in such a competitive environment, these ladies would bend over backwards to find new customers, make them happy, and keep them as loyal clients. This bullshit about no-shows, rude providers, smelly-twatted gals should guarantee their failure in this business. Why the fuck, with all the good, customer service oriented, decent attitude ladies out there, would a monger ever put up with shit? Just scroll down and click the next ad! You might even be pleasantly surprised.

I recently posted about a visit with one of the ladies at Jackie's new place down 441. Madeline was friendly, unrushed, didn't try to upsell, and at the end thanked me for stopping by. Obviously Jackie has trained her girls in the fine art of customer service. I know most of you have had similar experiences with other providers. I live in a country where being an hour late is considered to be right on time. What I do is tell all the chicks I have continuing relationships with is it's always ok to be late (they are GOING to be late) or cancel just send me a message.

Let me also add the issue with texts. Nothing worse than being asked to text, so you do, even when I, like C3, have a 5 dollar bat phone with no keyboard. You start the text conversation, and a few texts later, out of the blue, nothing. Three days later she texts back, some lame excuse the phone was not charged or other bs.

There was a time when I did not give a damn about texts, and the likes, but nowadays it is a mainstream form of communication, one that the provider requested in the first place. I may not give much weight to not getting a reply on my first attempt, or if a reply is reasonably late (not three days), or if there is a real, and present reason for no reply (I. E. Visits to uncle). But there is a limit, and it can be as bad as being stood up given the right mix of circumstances.

As an example, today I had some exchanges with a well known forum advertiser. I make my arrangements, and poof! Texts stop. I do not beg, or plea, ever! So I sent her another text checking if she got the last. Silence. The next was saying bye as this was the second time she pulled this on me.

I guess we can sum it all up with the old saying "No ticket, no laundry" Just change the words to the ones we know very well, and voila.

I do think it could be very interesting. We shall see what transpires. Hopefully it will be productive for those of us whom this forum is intended.

Hey, I am just trying out my new found freedom of being able to throw out insults without fear of daddy stopping the car. It feels good enough.

You are correct, the Rat influences the town, much the same way as the car factories influenced Detroit or the steel mills influenced Pittsburgh back in the day. Before the Rat there was Big Citrus that ran us. Every place has someone in charge. Since we manufacture fun hopefully things will end better here.

I do want to clear up some things. We DO have culture and we DO have very wonderful restaurants that are not franchises. We hide them from you. I just enjoyed Second Friday at the Quantum Leap Winery near Mills and Nebraska. Great local winery and this month the food truck was fantastic Greek food. Next week we will enjoy Third Thursday in Thornton Park where for 10 bucks you can enjoy as much wine and beer as you can handle from 20 or so restaurants, only a couple of them might be chains. Then there is Date Night at Leu Gardens, an outdoor movie, something we can enjoy year round, where a few thousand of us enjoy food and drink picnic style under the stars. We have a couple of film festivals and a wild kind of live stage series called Fringe Festival.

But, again I say, we really don't want you to know about these things. We would much rather you stay at the Rat House or down on I-Drive where the franchises breed like, well, rats.

Just sayin'.

All lanes on any particular road have the same speed limit requirement. In most cases (but not all) the drivers that gets upset about the so called "slow drivers" in the passing lane are going over the speed limit them self.
