Did you say text now apps?
Mopar, I too have a close friend on that side of the law in a different state that actually enforces the hobby much more aggressively then even Ohio. Ohio is still very primitive in their stings in comparison, hard to believe but true. I have brought up the topic to him when were hanging out when I'm in that neck of the woods, and he said to take an escort to dinner and for drinks there is no way in hell would hold up in court. So in person dates are looking like the only sure way of the future. I wouldn't count on any jury being asinine enough to convict someone for dating another adult. I agree though, that with a warrant for the voip number and an appearance however brief at their physical incall sting location, that would be sufficient for at least an arrest if not a conviction depending on what was said in the messages. Remember with these voip numbers though they can also be sent from laptops, etc. So text messages alone would not be enough to prove exactly who sent the messages. Also the contents of the text are important as well. Yes, even if you don't talk about anything, you will be arrested based on speculation solely on what site you were using if an appearance is made. But at this stage in this day and age IF we stumble upon a bad situation what were aiming for is reduced charges or dismissals, which by not talking about anything and pleading the 5th when the cuffs are slapped on you is a definite probability. In the situation I described in Akron the guy was arrested at an address in the middle of the road so not like a residence. So he definitely had to have made an appearance. There is no way there will be phantom citations based on speculation where the text message came from. its the same concept as seeing a woman on the side of the road, does that automatically mean you want to do anything with her? establishing our intent despite what their ad is offering is the key and the only way to shield ourselves. I agree completely about the apps, theyve had a good run, but a burner phone is probably the best route to go in this day and age.
Ok first off. I do not ever talk about sex in a text or on the phone. It is clearly understood. Secondly, I use only texting apps and BTW text now does NOT verify the email account info at all. I have used text now apps over 1,000 times. When it asked for an email to sign up. Dkcjrcic@yahoo.com.
When it asks for a password? Xkdnfkd.
My point is I use the app until I make contact then I delete it and poof I am gone. Suuure they can try to gain a warrant for my phone which they will never get. You people are married so clearly a little bit paranoid. I the infamous Johnbgood1113 is absolutely not married and therefore dgaf anyways. The app is not because I give any fucks about a minor misdemeanor ticket its because of hooker drama. However the texting apps work extremely well to stay anonymous as does the TOR app. Always run it to text the hoe through TOR and short of the CIA getting I valve over your personal date with a hooker which was consensual you are fine! Don't let others make you crazy paranoid.
