I can only imagine the man hours and bandwidth saved by reducing redundant conversations and helping newbies get started. Now all we need, to solve the second most common bandwidth and time waster is a "Mongers Transition Guide to the Bowl" to help educate guys who are accustomed to the escort world, and help enable them to wrap their heads around the difference between escorts and true SBs (or if they aren't interested in transitioning, at least help them understand why its unwise to pontificate about a hobby they do not understand). It would have to come from a fresh pen though, because I've written enough on the subject and have come to the conclusion it is challenging job that requires more patience or free time than I have; it involves much more than filling in the blanks for newcomers seeking knowledge. In involves trying to impart knowledge to folks who don't even realize they need it and have probably decided they don't need to learn anything new. Lots of guys out there enter the thread asserting that any woman who seeks financial security is a pro, without realizing they are basically talking about their own moms, daughters and sisters (because ALL women seek same). The bowl, and what takes place in it has such a wide range of variance and possibilities that is more complex than the simple escort / john transaction, and thus apparently cognitively out of reach for some.

I have been communicating with this one by text lately. I am looking for any intel that someone might have on this Asian spinner. I also can share info on others.

Scammed out of 400 I was visiting Ft Lauderdale for a conference and messaged back an forth for about a week and texted. Set up a date she comes to my room I had a small gift for her with the money inside she opened it up excused herself to go to bathroom came out and said she wanted to make a private call goes outside in to the hallway and I never saw her again, Use your discretion when meeting for the first time.

Don't know about this one. In my experience, asians have been total GPS and with tons of excuses for what and what not can be achieved in first few meets. I tried handful of them and none worked out to finishline. On contrary I had successes with others.

I ended up on a pred list. It was either some pyshing on the site or this one girl I was talking to when I first got on the site. I got it removed but it was a pain in the ass. GV is your friend. Never give your real first name. Keep your pictures private or only exchange thru text after you've established a little rapport.

Sounds like my story. In my early days on SA, I had almost exact same experience. Due to my soft corner for asians, I was trying real hard, and landed up sharing pics w / o much of caution those days. One of them were asking like 800 per meet and this SB's number when I googled pointed to a real person's name who she claimed to be and her insta was an open book pretty much. When I expressed my surprise to her openness about this, she took that as an offense to her. She wanted to talk with me over the phone about that. I declined and said let's just chat over texting only. I don't know what happened after that and suddenly she started the whole conversation of feminism, and as you can imagine that's a dead end to any conversation these days. And of course she reported me to SA saying bla blah that I questioned her female integrity and what not. I took the screenshot of texts and sent back to SA stating that I have never been disrespectful to any woman I have ever interacted including her. They could see from my SA messages too that I always approached everyone with utmost respect and treating the site as one of the dating sites. SA did not take any action.

She claimed to be "American born Asian", honestly those are the ones on the extreme end of GPS, they were totally confused when it came to giving but for $$ they are always ready, and their conversation scared me a lot. Again that's just for me, so YMMV.

I have been using it recently on my Android phone, I like it fine. I gave the GV # to a POT, and she decides to call me. I was busy so I didn't answer, then responded with a text. However, the incoming call and the outgoing text were on my burner #, not my GV #. It's not a big deal, she's a nice lady, I don't feel any threat. However, for those of you who use GV on your personal phone to keep safe (say from a SO, avoiding the existence of a burner), I can see this could be a problem. I would prefer everything go through GV now that I have it. Please tell me what I have done wrong with my settings, or is this 'normal operation'?

Common "bug" with GV as it were. Had a buddy do something similar and ended up calling the girl back on his regular phone (I. E. NOT layered GV on burner) and she got his real number. That was fine as she was cool, except for the fact that SB called real number while his SO was borrowing his phone!

The thing you need to do with GV is [b]make sure you are in the app when you initiate any calls or texts.[/b] Oh sure, the real number comes into your burner phone or real phone and the phone always asks you if you wish to return the call. But that is NOT the app asking! I think if one looks closely they will see the VERY subtle difference. So you have to step away from that message and back into the app.

GV used to go to my iOs messaging app when I first set it up. I logged out and logged back in and now it only goes to the GV app so nothing in my messages. Not sure how that happened but you might try the same off google how to do it.

It's still not resolved even after doing all of that.

Their software could not verify the address (an actual address) with my fake name so they just shut the card down. On the upside, I get to speak to someone in Delhi a few times a month.
