I thought I'd give a quick update since a few things happened this weekend.

Latina Artist. We were suppose to meet this Sunday, but she got cold feet and canceled at the last minute. Let me add my welcome to the clubhouse, John.

I think you will find us all willing to share. How old are you, and are you married? Not to pry by any means, but the essential aspect of the SD / SB equation is that it offers us older, married dudes access to women we would hardly have a chance with in real life. If you are a 30-something stud, you don't need this. If you are in your 50's, single or married, and happy banging women you meet at a bar who are your own age, you don't need this.

First I would say read the entire thread. It will take some time but is very entertaining and educational. I honestly consider myself still a novice at this. I started in February.

Thanks for the variety of responses. I think the best one for me, had I been quick enough to respond with it when originally accused, would have been the "found it near my desk at work and picked it up quickly because I didn't know where it came from". Unfortunately, I am now too far into the deny, deny, deny routine to back up and try something different at this point.

But I do appreciate the responses. I'll just have to see how this thing plays out. I'm single, have no SO. I don't know how married guys do it. I would find it really hard to play secret agent man and enjoy myself.

I used to see girls (mostly "Pros") in my bachelor pad. I usually did some screening. I suppose I could have been robbed, blackmailed. Murdered. But at that time, I was willing to risk it. Update: For now, the issue has quieted down and questions have stopped. She told me yesterday morning that she didn't sleep well the entire night before. Alias's and JGS's recent brushes with disaster certainly serve as a wake-up call to all of us who are married or in a significant relationship about the potential damage that can befall us when we get careless or sloppy. I truly hope things work out for both of you.

I am off in a few hours to have lunch with my former ATF, who contacted me out of the blue a little over a year after dumping me for some younger dude. I have been cautiously examining my emotions over the past few days, and am trying very hard to keep calm and let things play out the way they want.

On the one hand, I think she must want to get back together, otherwise why would she have contacted me at all?
