A female can also contract Gonorrhea in the back of throat(know a lady it happened to in the last 2 yrs) An infection in the mouth from a gent or lady carrying Clhamydia (which is symptomless in most males. Most females mistake for a yeast infection and do not treat properly) Last and not least can I point out that ladies can get bacterial infections from gents with poor teeth! New one I learned recently. I know you guys have this oh it cannot happen to me attitude or you can go get antibiotics for just about everything. Wrong!
There is no cure for Herpes or HIV!

You can still transmit the herpes virus even when there is no out break.

No. But I also can't guarantee that you will be able to take your next breath either.
With that said, these are my recommendations:
1. Get tested for STDs several times per year. Just got mine done last month, all negative!
2. Absolutely no sexual contact with an open sore (this includes oral ulcers as well)! No exchange of blood! If the provider is bleeding/on her period, or has an open wound then I won't even touch her.
3. Try to see providers that have references. You are much more likely to be killed by a pimp than HIV.
4. Let's look out for each other! If a girl does you wrong/has a pimp/steals/bleeds/or anything of the sort, then write a review! Let other guys know so they won't fall in the same trap. If we start putting the word out on these girls, then we can put them out of business!
5. BBBJs and DATY are ok but NO BBFS! That's just common sense.
6. For the providers, you should not give BBBJ if you have an oral wound/ulcer/sore or if you have bad acid reflux disease. Swallowing is for the most part harmless. A virus wouldn't be able to tolerate the acid in the stomach. Spitting would probably be a better idea though.

Have used them several times. They set up appontment and keep it anonymous.
They will set up a blood and urine test to screen for all STDs. Some swingers who like to go BB will require partners to have test, which is how I got involved.

I like tSTD. Ive used them a few times myself. The complete std panel is $250, which is not a bad price at all. I know this for a fact because one time i was charged $300 by my doctor for the HSV tests alone because my insurance didnt cover it. I just got tested last month at my yearly physical and i got everything except hsv and all i had to pay was my co-pay. Since HSV is so common, i guess insurance companies dont see the point in testing for it. But to answer your question, going to your primary care doctor would probably be cheeper than tstd. But i suppose that it ultimatly depends on your insurance and what tests they are willing to pay for.

Just to be clear, I was not saying it was or was not worth the risk, just letting folks know BBBJ has its own risk. I had a buddy that swore you could not catch a thing that way. Again, not here to tell anyone what to do, but this kind of exchange is really good info. If someone makes an "informed" choice, that's fine.

Hey. This is easy to sum up. Before you buy a horse-you always check it's teeth. Keep in mind that SW's don't exactly carry toothbrushes around hence maybe bad dental hygene, maybe bleeding gums. If a provider is a heavy smoker good chance of throat irritation. If she's hoarse-possible throat infection. BBBJ? Maybe with a well known careful proven provider but on the street-take your IRA to vegas and see how you make out instead. Could win-could lose. Willing to chance it?
Well, it certainly is something we definitely need to practice good common sense on, that's for sure. As I've said, I personally have never heard of anyone contracting anything from BBBJ (although I've read plenty about it), and it has never even crossed my mind to go BBFS and assumed that no reputable providers would allow such a thing. I, for one, don't have a problem with CBJ or CFS as long as the provider is sexy, skillful, and enthusiastic.
Perhaps if I made a living as a provider, the frequency of BBFS request would be old news, but as an occasional hobbyist averaging 3 to 4 a year, it certainly is an eye opener that there are providers that actually allow it. I will definitely be much more careful after this discussion. I would hate to bring something home that I didn't intend to.

I'm not at my incall right now, but when I get there I'll look at my last test results and tell you what all I get tested for. There is a particular name for it (it's the porn battery of tests) plus I added a few more for my own piece of mind.
Me personally, I do not find it offensive if I'm asked when my last tests were. Because I'm not suicidal and I do place a high value on my life, I get tested monthly. I think most girls go every 90 days or so.
Depending on how often and how "varied" your play style is should dictate how often you hobbyists get tested. And yes, you should. If you have been doing this for 365 days and you haven't been tested in the last 6 months, you are a freakin idiot. No other way to say it.
I got tested before I started. I looked at the County Health, talked around it with my primary doc and decided on a single practitioner with a small office just past the county line. I see him solely for "hobby health". I pay cash, I do not use my employment provided insurance and my visits to his office are not part of my "real" "permanent" health file. (The one my family has access to in case of emergencies.)
I get blood & urine every 30 and throat cultures and pap's every 60. A little obsessive? Maybe. But I figure I am testing backwards in some cases to 2008. Easily to 2009. (I'm talking different diseases incubation periods.)
