There are several things going on here. And it strictly depends on where these women are (I. E. Street, Backpage etc).

First let me touch the most explosive one. Black women.

I am a man of color (black and Latin descent) and it amazes me in general how we hate ourselves. Yes its true. We are the only race I know of that addresses each other as and*gger. Do you hear whites address each other as "cracker" or Asians call each other "chink". No you don't. It is an internal hatred that extends back to slavery. Now black providers now extend that to black men. They will not have sex with a black man for money for fear of God knows what. What is fascinating is that though these providers will not serve black men they WILL get knocked up by one. Furthermore they will go with a non black man for money yet RARELY will you see a black women in a relationship with a white man. The Black SW are the absolute worst. In addition to 90% of them being overweight loudmouth whales they will have a black man attempt to pick them up and they will see he is black and simply walk away.

What the hell?

If you don't want to be with black (or even Latin) men why the hell are you street walking in the blackest and brownest parts of town (I. E Fig and Western). Why aren't you in Orange County or something? You are street walking where the bulk of the population is of color.

I don't give these women the time of day. Is a black man more prone to rob you, assault you or give you a disease? The first two are just as possible with white men at a truck stop or a Latino in East LA. But their hatred of themselves as black (dying your hair blond? Someone please tell them they look ridiculous) extends to other blacks as well. No SW is going to pick up a man driving an Cadillac Escalade with 4 other young looking guys in it. White, brown, Asian it does not matter.

Don't believe these SW hate being black and extend that hatred to black men who want to pick them up? Read Malcolm X from decades ago. He speaks of this internal hatred of one self.

Now lets touch on Backpage and CL.

Interestingly enough Asian providers rarely say "No black men" as black and white providers do. This is because in Asian cultures-and I can speak to this having spent many years of my life in Asia-do not have the prejudices Americans do. Their history does not teach them to hate non whites. They only learn it once they are in the US or if they are around racist people. I have seen this in practice in Asia. It's like the infamous story from the Korean War. When black soldiers first arrived the people had no problem with them. But as more arrived they were racist toward black soldiers. Why? Because white officers told them black soldiers had tails like monkeys.

Google it. Its true.

I have never ever when mongering been discriminated against by an Asian women. And yes there are few Asian SW. And in the massage parlors I have never had this happen. And don't say the women there HAVE TO go with you. Believe me I have seen Korean, Thai and Vietnamese girls in MP refuse to go with certain men. This never ever happened to me. They like to call you "chocolate" and things like that but it is all in good fun. No harm.

Latinas can be hit or miss. Given I have Latin blood and speak Spanish it depends on the Latina and where she is from. In LA they are mostly Mexican and blacks and Mexicans have a bad history here. So some of them in their ads will write "No black men". But in south Florida, where Latinas are from everywhere, I never saw this nor was ever discriminate against by a Latina. And Latinas are the bulk of providers in south Florida. In most Latin cultures you do not have such overt racism based on skin color though I have heard Brazil is the exception. But in Costa Rica and Dominican Republic and Jamaica they notice your skin color but do not practice the overt racism I see in LA.

Surprisingly, with white women, I do not find as many "no black men" on Backpage and CL as I would have thought. In fact a lot of my responses to CL ads are white women. You would think they would automatically be racist but this evidently is not true. I think sometimes popular culture and the press in the USA likes to keep people at each others throats and always make it seem everyone is hateful, spiteful and prejudice. I will tell you this. I have a stable of 9 providers. Three of them are white girls under 24. And when I first connected with them they gave less than a damn that I was black. When I mongered for SW in the Pacific NW almost every provider is white. And no one ever said no to me or just walked away from the car in disgust.

So what does this mean for men of color that are mongering?

You have to work harder.

I am an educated good looking man. And I use this as a carrot when I first connect with providers. Because of popular culture, that God awful rap music (ok TuPac was ok) and the fact that many YOUNG black men commit crimes I go out of my way to make them comfortable. When I hunt for SW I never play loud music and I always wear a shirt with a collar. I know it sounds a bit much but this is what you must do because of the racism among SW. And the black women that have gone with me(SW and CL/BP girls), even though it took some convincing on my part, all adored me afterwards and out of all the races I have been with mongering were most likely to call me alot and even invite me places with them. Even would give me freebies.

In all I have learned that LA is a racist place. With the history of Darryl Gates (LAPD), Rodney King and other things I can see why. It's a shame that when these providers are offering pink for the green that black and brown isn't wanted.

In areas like north and southern ca (with thug and gang culture) this is more likely to happen. Since yesterday I have gotten 18 PM's-more than I have ever gotten about any post-regarding this subject. Three of the PM's have been from people out of state and one post was from a guy in LA who said he is LEO and even he is discriminated against. America was always a great experiment-allowing everyone of different races, creeds, religions etc to live under the same flag. However Americas track record as it regards to race and even gender is awful. Even George Washington in his farewell address noted that slavery and foreign wars would do America in if it remained unchecked.

Nevertheless we all just have to monger on and do the best we can with the situation. I look at it like this. No matter where you go someone will not like you. If you are a Jew in Saudi Arabia they won't like you, if you are a Korean and in many parts of Japan theywill not like you, if you are Haitian and live in the Dominican Republic they won't like you. You just have to get over it and look for a better opportunity for yourself despite the challenges.

Didn't last long, I found out the local dynamic once I became a resident there. The different groups hate each other (it got loose in their 2008 post-election rioting and killing).
