So the request is first, am I going about this wrong? Are there some better places to look for providers in that price range who are a little more newbie friendly? Any providers to recommend for my situation? If I don't crack into the market, screw it, I'll stick with AMP's.

It doesn't always have to make sense to us. Most go for 411 because all the vesting is supposed to be done. This has been a gripe since I started in the hobby 5 years ago it was a problem before then as well.
In my experience.
1) they don't even check have the time, just want to see effort. Although I do have a few regulars who will vouch.
2) the references you do give either don't responded or could talk shit so you will come back to them.
3) just pay the p411 so they don't have to do work.
4) I miss the time when other places to discuss allowed you to I'm from that bored and it acted a s verification.
If they had better logic then they probably wouldn't be hookers or what ever they want to call them selves.

Communication was a bit inconsistent but holy crap! Photos accurate but did not do her justice. Incredible. We had a difficult time communicating as my Spanish is not what it should have been. And during the visit, we had a knock at the door. It turns out that they were looking for Avery—the other one available—and in the room next door.
Her body is amazing. Incredible tones with some amazing breasts and completely flat stomach. There was nothing she would not do and was extremely accommodating. Sure, the price was a little high but you only live once, right.
Highly recommend. She Will be here for another week or so.

We don't want our personal identifying information (PII) out there for someone else to access, especially our least favorite uncle. I've never heard of mongers asking for a provider's PII. Neither should providers ask for ours. Move on if a provider wants your info.
While I'm thinking about the subject, don't leave the provider an advance deposit. You've kissed that money goodbye without any assurance you'll get the services for which you've paid your hard-earned money.
