Obituaries are not free, so add another to list of gone, not celebrated and soon for gotten. So, unless those affected by her or need closure do something. That's it. Just two weeks ago I was chatting with a dancer about the staggering number of deaths. I mentioned a name and she immediately says, she was her good friend and she even lived with her at one time however she had no clue she passed away.

Obits are paid for and may appear a few times. You may be right that a online search defaults to obits, I don't know. If you don't get the paper go to the library and look at past issues.
