Typically they send in the provider to make sure you aren't LE and that you like them. At BO for example they ask if they are good or if you want a different one sometimes. Be careful at MM though, you might make Kiko mad and that's no Bueno. I would suggest searching reviews here as well as in MM example they upload pictures that look similar to the providers.
