"Sugarbabies" / "Arrangements" Amateurs or Not?

I finally joined SA. First impression: wow! Thousands of girls, it seems. But mostly vapid women making poor conversation. One woman stood out, amazingly beautiful, perceptive, and interesting to talk to. I figured she would be out of my price range but set up a M&G just to see. She said her previous SD had been a rich business guy. And it was plausible, she was so smooth and sophisticated. She quoted 1000 allowance plus she wanted to go shopping and sometimes additional money for "things that came up", because that's what the other guy did. The stuff beyond allowance was poorly defined, but I guess the total would be 1500 per month, which is WAY beyond my budget. I told her so and she said she liked me and I should make a counter offer. I said I'd think about it but I didn't get back to her. Whew!!

I wonder what the forum thinks about pay-per-visit versus monthly allowance? I can see how an allowance is an advantage for the girl, she's guaranteed an income. On the other hand, she could take the 1000 and ghost you, right? You have to be mighty rich to risk losing 1000 so easily. I would only agree to pay-per-visit to avoid scams.

One very consistent observation was that many of the 200 girls I talked to online in the past week complained about how harsh and sleazy the men are! That they were just interested in hookups for sex at the lowest price. The girl I met in person said the same. But this has been reported several times on this forum. There's no changing men's stupid nature (but is it stupid? Maybe it works at some level). It seems to me that for the newer, more innocent SB, it's a big advantage if you are a polite gentleman. Or at least pretend to be one. Again, others have observed this.

It's funny how much this SB world is simply a market. Like buying cars. There are the cars you can afford and the cars you cannot afford. And of course you have to want the car to buy it. I suppose its expected that you haggle the price. Oh, and cars get old and lose value. I am reminded of an article I read in a sex magazine many years ago. It was a hilarious spoof of a guy who used research funds from the magazine to explore the world of high-end prostitution. I don't remember the article except for the title: "Serious Cash for High-End Gash". So ridiculous to reduce a woman to a "gash" !

[/QUOTE]To me, that's the point of having a SB instead of seeing a pro-escort. There is a relationship of sorts that develops over time, with some mutual trust. Plenty of women feel that getting the $ right at the FC makes them feel too much like a 'regular' hooker, so they like to have it unconnected, but they're not dumb. They know that 'no play, no pay'. I have negotiated a monthly allowance but also a specific $ for the initial FC. If we both are happy, we continue, if not, not. I also discuss a lot of other stuff up front. Is she on BC, if not what happens if we bust a rubber (I'm paranoid, I admit, I'd never go BB), does she do Plan B, has she had a STD panel, has she had her HPV shot, etc. ? A couple of bowl brothers are having difficulty logging in to SA using the Tor browser. It's the easiest way I know to keep your IP address secret while browsing, from anyone. VPNs are more trouble. I have also heard that regular browsers are working OK. This would not be a good trend for the many of us who are trying to stay under the radar, and it would suggest that the Hong Kong fellow who owns SA isn't our friend. To just be kind of Captain Obvious, the people harvesting photos to post on extortion sites, they aren't hookers, escorts, masseuses, or sugarbabies. They're scammers, posing as one of the above in order to get two key things. Your number and pic, maybe your email. They could have come from Craigslist, backpage, or seekingarrangement. I was just alerting some people to activity on the seekingarrangement in certain areas of the country. Our challenge is to identify those who are doing it before we give up our key info, and warn others if we can figure out which ads / profiles are doing it. We also want to have excellent operational security so we don't make ourselves vulnerable to this when we could have taken some simple precautions. We might get some assistance from the sites themselves, but I wouldn't depend on that.

Don't say you messaged them because they look hot. If you can't think of anything good to get their attention, then find another one that will bring on some inspiration with your big head, not just the little one. Because if she does reply to your first message, you have to keep on impressing her. Ones that do reply to your message and can't do any better than "hey, how are you?" are usually time wasters in my opinion.

It sounds awfully alluring but making all the pieces work is much more complicated. Both girls would have to be into you, and you'd have to be into both girls as well. The odds are slim and to me it seems like a way to collect M&G fees, free dinners, and keep everything nice and platonic. No thanks.
