Something wrong with that, IMO. The subject matter is about text msgs, not a health file containing sensitive health and personal info; Name, SSN, details of physical or mental health issues, etc.

But lets just get HIP on HIPPA for a moment. Crissy, being a LMT isn't billing an ins co for her services, she is not filing electronically with another health provider or ins co. Moreover, as a LMT she is NOT subject to HIPPA. She can release all the text msgs she wants to and there is absolutely NO violation of any law, period. Here is what the profession says about it:

"According to Massagetherapy. Com, whether a provider must comply with HIPAA can be difficult to discern. For instance, a massage therapist, who is providing an alternative therapy, does not need to comply unless the treatment is being billed by an insurance company or she is working with other organizations that need to comply."

PD, back when he was Anonone, invoked this same HIPPA shit on me when I brought into question his mental state; as if I was somehow violating his HIPPA rights. He complained to Jackson about this, of course that went nowhere. The dude is a fucking kook, proved over and over again and it is proven that he will attempt to bring any pressure to bear on whoever he is attempting to control or dominate, be that a physical threat, [Big bad football player role... that was a killer PD; pure fucking humor dude], legal threats or attempts to coherse providers with poor reviews. Take the fucking jaclkoff for what he is worth, not even the value of a decent ejaculation! PD, et al, Take your fucking HIPPA threats and put where it might hurt.

BTW, there was an excellent example in today's paper of a HIPPA violation. A dude enters the emergency room in a local hosp some time back with a foreign object lodged up his poop-chute that he couldn't pass. X-rays taken, gossip in the emerg room among personel, phone pics snapped of the X-ray, then passed via text msg to many friends outside the hosp. Now there is a HIPPA violation. PD should go after those folks, assuming that this was him. Now I'm not saying that it was but my intuition merely caused me to think of him as the potential subject here. I'm just sayin. HIPPA out brothers, [and sisters].

Once you are canceled its over, after his attitude threatening to write this BS, after him demanding a 90 session be paid for by a client who is a " salon" client and doesn't even get a feminine touch massage, and it's totally odd ball stuff to look at a very nice NORMAL guy an say oh wait excuse me but you ran late so the asshole after you said this " pay for me an extended 90min massage or get the fuck out the driveway!" So would you like to continue an you pay for this spoiled brats 90 min massage or just very awkwardly leave now?

I don't care wether any of its true but he DID 100% say all that!

I guess you decided to remove your recent post concerning HIPAA and it being a violation to even mention an appt. That would be true IF the healthcare provider was subject to the guidelines of HIPAA; Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. If you are NOT subject to HIPAA, you cannot committ a HIPAA violation. CC is not subject to HIPAA; case closed brother. Check those facts.

I've seen CC for 6 years starting way back in Kenwood salon.

I was one of many suggested she go off on her own, she has an intoxicating smile and laugh.

I just want to publicly show a little support to Crissy. She is an excellent masseuse, a wonderful lady, and, I believe, easily hurt by the actions / sayings of others because she cares so much for other people. By what I have read, she was late due to the fact that she was trying to accommodate another client who was in fact late. I can understand the fact that this is frustrating for all of those involved, but it illustrates Crissy's overwhelming desire to please others. I can guarantee you that she would never deliberately do anything to hurt or cause pain to anyone. She makes mistakes at times as do we all. Perhaps the best thing to do right now is just let all of this go. All of this fighting is hurting only one person, Crissy. If you want to hurt her then keep pouring it all on as you will never convince certain individuals of their pettiness and no this is not directed to any specific person but to us all. Please let it rest or handle the matter in PM's. As always.

So it's been a couple months and we are smack dab in the middle of the biggest dust up The Octagon has ever seen. This is exactly the stuff I had hoped to keep off the review threads.

My question is; is it working? Do you guys notice less douchebaggery in the review threads. For the guys that are normally quiet do you enjoy popping in here and seeing everybody throwing poo poo at each other? (I find it compelling) Are the relaxed restrictions too relaxed, still to stringent, or about right? Does anybody have a problem with me sharing here as a normal guy as opposed to an admin? Would you rather I STFU and reserve my input to an official nature?

I guess the bottom line is does it add value?

I think it's perfect. The Octagon is usually worth a quick skim when I log on.

I typically choose to avoid the drama on the boards. This place gives them an outlet to be asses without fear of repercussion. I think that's a good thing, otherwise it would be all over the useful boards.
