Wonder if this is in response to the heat being put on about sexual related ads.

No description, can't prove the ad is sexual in nature.

My hypothesis is that they either tried it to see how it would go or they are just lazy and can't be bothered writing a headline to attract people or their hits were down and they figured they might have a better chance saying nothing because we had seen them so many time before we weren't going to bother opening their ads.

Other girls saw it and copied it – either because they thought it must work because so many others are doing it or because they are just lazy and this seemed to be an easier route.

Regardless of the reason, it is annoying and I have decided to stop opening the numbers only ads. First of all it's a huge waste of time when you get someone that is not in your target or is too far away. Secondly, it's hard to avoid opening the same ad again and again, because who remembers individual numbers the first several times.

I think the smarter girls will go back to the regular way.

I don't think the "can't prove sexual nature" holds much water. We all know what the ads are for and LE doesn't take any action unless they have an actual meeting or sting anyway.

My thought was some sort of automation was grabbing pics, and creating ads with the phone numbers as subject lines, possibly by a catfishing expedition. Some of the ads are very recognizable local photos, but I didn't know "usual" phone numbers off the top of my head for any to see if they were legit. It's very easy to grab photos using automation, look how many other sites "screen scrape" BP.

There are still ads being freshly posted with "normal" subject lines and no text other than the phone number again and a random link, so I'm still wondering.

If anyone knows anyone posting with only a phone number who used to post differently, please chime in. I'll do the same.

I see some of the posters are including a picture that has a note has what they would write in their post.

Ok so do you mongers get irritated when a provider asks you if your a cop. Usually when they ask me that question via text I don't even respond back to them. No I'm not a cop. Far from it but like most of you I'm sure you know a cop or 2. Anyways with that said I've know for years that cops don't have to tell you they are cops. Thats why I get so irritated when girls ask. When the maffia ask Donnie Brasco of he was a cop did he say yes I have to tell you or its entrapment LMFAO. Anyways to confirm my already know knowledge I asked 2 of my cop friend. 1 is a lieutenant and the other is a sergeant. And they say they absolutely do not have to divulge any information when they are undercover (not sure if it means if they are not undercover they have to answer truthfully. I didn't ask and I didn't care) just thought I passed off this information. Girls are dumb. True story.

Did you know that in CT, you cannot stay in a motel / hotel for more than 28 days.

Makes sense now why providers head across the border into West Springfield and set up camp for a while.

M software to get men to buy tokens. Googled this and one researcher estimated that 95% of the female profiles are fake.
