HARTFORD — Ten city women were arrested and charged with prostitution after an undercover operation by police Tuesday.

The web page includes the mug shots of all 10 ladies. While some of the younger ladies don't look too frightful, some of the older ladies look older than their listed ages and look like they've lived a hard, hard life.
Apparently no customers were arrested, just the working ladies.
I'm always puzzled. Exactly how many citizens and neighborhood groups filed complaints? Also, now that these 10 ladies are locked up, does that mean that Hartford is now a better place to live in and / or visit / shop / work in? I doubt it.
