Better economic opportunities for the 20 somethings? I don't know about that one. Not in a time when we are living in the after effects of what happened 10 years ago with the same thing looking like it will happen again in a couple years.
Well for some reason the Asian stripper population has crashed from the 90's (when you could find Thai, Lao, Filipina, and Cambodian strippers, and the occasional Korean and Vietnamese stripper, in every club. Even Tattletales had a Vietnamese girl or two!
Those were mostly first generation immigrants and refugees (who came here as kids and whose families settled mostly in poor areas). I guess the current youth generation is one removed from that, and sex work seems less necessary as an economic option.).
O.

O.
I think it's a matter of those next-generation Asians taking advantage of opportunities that others don't. Black and white strippers have the same choices as anyone else but upbringing, values and personal motivation dictate who takes advantage of those opportunities (to get away from the stripper life).

I got out in the 90's. Clinton was shutting down bases all over the place. PI turned into a Liberty port.

PI turned into a Liberty port.
Oh man you guys are bringing back some good and bad memories for me. I don't know how the stripper scene was myself in the 90's as I was a child back then but I do know there was some hot asian strippers in the late 2000's I saw but when Dekalb started their crackdown with the strip clubs along with forcing customers to buy at least 2 drinks that is where the strip club scene died for me. As far as why some asian people we know suddenly disappear, I have heard that some asians do get sent back to their own country for 5 years or more some times for various reasons. With what is going on now though with anybody from some other country trying to come live here, everything may and probably is going to change now.
She gave me a different version but did say you sounded weird and strange. Yet another UTR you made feel uncomfortable. Seems to be a pattern with you. Russian chick was hot until she disappeared and I was specific enough.
Ok so two different stories. I will admit that I don't have the best voice when talking to people some times and my voice does sound unusual to some people. You know they say this site is about giving reviews of providers but in cases like this it can be about reviewing mongers too when a monger shares a said utr with another monger. While I don't agree with the review you are telling about what happened when I tried to meet your utr it is nonetheless a review and reviewing mongers can help weed out the real bad ones like we have done before.

Sounds like those Navy and Air Force dudes were marrying lower class Filipinas, brought them to the States, they divorced and found the only way they could make money was to be a stripper. Do we know anyone like that? Lisa at Elite in Duluth comes to mind.

I like that for a working hypothesis.
As global economies improved less Asians immigrated. It's as simple as that. There had also been a reduction in Brazilian and Eastern European workers with Ukraine being an exception as well. On the flip side, Venezuela and Central American countries are exporting workers now. War, politics, and economies dictate who supplies the sexy for the sex trade.
That's always been going on whenever we were at war or at a military base.
Of course it has, but it was largely because military guys tend to marry lower class Asian ladies, those that already worked in clubs in their respective countries.
