I recently signed up for a membership on [URL]secretbenefits.com[/URL]. I want to say it was about $55 for enough credits to message about 10 people. The use some an 'unlock' method where you have to unlock chats with a member once and then you get unlimited chats there-after. As with any dating site, I was expecting a bit of bait / scam, and sure enough within just minutes of opening the account, I had messages waiting to be unlocked, from people not within the range I was looking and from people who had never even visited my profile (you can see recent visitors).
Things went quickly further downhill than that, unfortunately. I would message people who who showing as 'online' only to receive crickets in return. OK, maybe they just aren't talkative or didn't like my profile. But this became a quickly recurring theme. Generic / generated messages coming in; and when I message out to what I had hoped were real members, no responses in return. Reading online, this appeared to be a common issue, and the recurring allegation is that they are pulling in unsuspecting member profiles from their sister site ([URL]sugardaddy.com[/URL]) and pretending as if they are online when they are not. The unsuspecting users probably don't even realize this is happening.
So, fuck it, I confronted them with my allegations and said I had reasonable suspicion that their site was a hoax, and they probably know this as well. Either refund me or I would post negative reviews; and guess what. No apology, no dispute, they deleted my account and refunded my purchase, LOL.
Just a heads up; before you waste your time / money. I spent a week there and had ZERO real-life responses to anything I did.

Every time someone catfishes an SB, and shows up looking like someone different, they are guaranteeing the SBs return the favor x10 and waste a lot of our time and money.
You realize they have their forums and reddit threads too right? If you bait-and-switch them with pics, its not good for us.. the true gems will dodge out of the game altogether when they show up for the M&G and realize they've been scammed. The only ones left to meet then are the scammers.
Put into the hobby what you expect to get out of it. This is the kind of thing that's caused this lifestyle to diminish over the years. Girls don't appreciate showing up for a meet being disappointed because you sent a pic of your better looking friend.

100% agree. If you post or send someone else's photos to them, you can't complain them catfishing or not representing themselves. It goes both ways. I try to get them to video call before the meet up so that we both have a good idea who we are meeting. You have to make them comfortable and feel safe (at least the type of girls I am after), then the rest is easy.

The major drawback of SDM is much less number of profiles compared to seeking. But both sites have fare share of scammers, time wasters and bots. I have had good luck with SDM so far.

Does SDM have any promotions?
It is monthly subscription for $50. Unlimited messages. Same as seeking. I have not seen any promos or discounts yet. Two things I like about SDM. If you use mobile app you can see the location they are actually logged in as closest to the city or county. As I remember, seeking gave only the country. Then we can compare what they say about location in profile. It is a good feature to weed out scammers. Also SDs or (anyone) can comment on profiles and those comments are public. I would use those with a grain of salt though.
