There are NO CONSEQUENCES. However, the FEAR OF CONSEQUENCES is what makes naive morons pay the fines. Those who are unaware of the law are scared into submission. Obviously, the bulk of the people who get these tickets are completely ignorant when it comes to American law. Its like being scared of barking dog that is toothless and declawed. No one seems to read the fine print on the threatening letters. I had my car towed by the city a month before I came to Austin. I did have to pay an old parking ticket. But the traffic light tickets? No mention of them whatsoever.
If I had kept said statements rather than throwing them in the trash, I would gladly post it for you. I have not been contacted by any collection agency over this, EVER. I check my credit report for free at www.annualcreditreport.com and no you do not have to give them a credit card number. Also, it doesn't matter what the supreme court says if no one pays the tickets, does it? Those who pay the tickets are feeding the loss of our rights.
As far as the application of due process, take a remedial class of American Government. Stay in school, kid.
Now lets get back on topic. When I come back to Columbus, I will significantly add to my body count, as far as BBFS I am approaching 200 and no that is not a joke. I will have an updated last available soon.

Nice
Nice report Shadow1
For you guys that prefer the white girl,I have a good one for you. Her name is Kasey, has her on spot, and would probably be a 8.5 on the scale. I met her at a party, and she was the only girl that was down to do whatever, for a good price.
Send me a message if you are willing to trade for real numbers.

Sullivant Guy
If Sullivant Guy was foolish enough to post about some encounter with a minor than I am glad the cops are investigating him. This is not a pedophile site and we do not need some investigation because some sicko is knowingly having sex with minors. The last thing we need is to have the mongers tainted with a pedophile reputation. The guys on this site are mindful of avoiding minors and I am proud of this.
I don't suppose you kids have heard of this thing called the Constitution?
Particularly the 4th Amendment?
Francis and Mojo, its people who like you who are allowing your rights to erode away. The police do not handle the tickets. The company who makes the cameras does. I have gotten 10 tickets since they came into effect and have not had any problems whatsoever with my refusal to pay these illegal tickets. This "do as you're told, do not question the government" thing you believe in is bullshit.
The point is, if you pay these illegal tickets, youre allowing your rights to be taken away piece by piece. A ticket you get in the mail is NOT the same as a ticket you get in person. IN FACT, it says in the citation itself that it doesnt affect your credit, insurance or driving record. You know how I know this? Because I have had 10 notices sent to my house that say so!
I really don't care if you pay them or not, but I do care that you have been photographed running red lights 10 FREAKING TIMES. That's ridiculous. I hope you don't drive in the same areas of town as I do. If you ever injure someone (may God have mercy on your soul if it's my child. Or any child), you should be punished severely.
I see people running red lights all the time around town. It's an epidemic. I've also witnessed bad accidents because of that action and plenty of near misses. Pisses me off.

I cant believe you kids are so naive to believe this anti-American propaganda. MisterMojo, what is your attorney's phone number?
Oh, and lookie here! One Ohio judge had enough sense to overturn these illegal tickets, and forced the corrupt company to repay the morons who were stupid enough to pay these tickets:

You can fight any charge and use the constitution.

First off to guys who are now bashing Sullivant Guy, youre starting to sound like him, reacting in self-righteous indignance. I would not be the least bit surprised if you ended up like him. Hypocritically whining about the practices of other members of the board, while you do the exact same shit, who then become the target of investigation! I also would not be surprised if our man Sully was into BBFS with creampie just like me. At least I do not hide it! Who knows what other skeleton's are in Sully's closet. Maybe he is the next Christian Fuhr!
Mojo- What the hell are you talking about? The best way to fight these fraudulent tickets is to throw them in the trash, and I have won every time.
Joel- I understand. On ALL of these occasions (during the winters of recent years past) I had run a yellow light that had turned red as I was going through it IN RAINY OR ICY WEATHER. If I had slammed on the brakes to avoid the light, I would have skidded across the ice, possibly killing your child doing so. Its not as if I was running through red lights without thinking twice.
What is a bigger violation of the law, a minor traffic violation, or a violation of the constitution? Hmmm?

Red Light Cameras
This really got my curiousity up. I went to the police website;
http://www.columbuspolice.org/
On the lead page it shows a link for information on red lights. I clicked it and it goes to a blank page....figures.
I think it's very doubtful that nothing would happen if you don't pay the ticket other then an attempt to get a collection agency to collect it. If that were the case, the word would have gotten out quick and NOBODY would pay them. I do remember them saying you don't get any points on your license when you get a ticket. One thing is for sure, you know they will add a penalty if you don't pay it on time. Here is something to consider though;
What is the possibility that they will suspend your drivers license? I know for a fact (Personal Experience) that if you don't pay a regular traffic ticket, they can suspend your license even if you don't pay one from another state. I wouldn't be surprised that they could do the same thing here. The BMV looks for any reason to suspend a person's license because they know they will make a lot of money for a person to get it valid again.
This is just a possibility and I'm just guessing.

Get back on track
I haven't been on this site for awhile and may continue to stay away. The purpose is to discuss the SW scene in Columbus. Lets get back on track.
Sunday I met a WSW on sully near Martin. I picked her up and talked awhile. She said her name is Sarah. Very thin with long light hair. Cute and nice, but in need of serious dental treatment. She is trying to straighten up her life. I wish her the best.

None of this answers the question of why, if they turn your debts over to a collection agency, the collection agency can't report you to a credit bureau . Collection agencies can do that in general, so why wouldn't they be able to with these debts? (I'd think they can also sue you, though perhaps that's too much bother for such small debts.)
This is my last post on this subject because it's off topic, but it seems to me if there are no possible consequences for ignoring these fines, someone would have written something about that on the internet by now. That cat would be out of the bag. But, hey, I could be wrong.
Your claim was if you "ask any lawyer" they'll tell you you can ignore the debts with no consequences. I doubt a lawyer would say that. Just more of your B.S. Most lawyers haven't studied the ins and outs of traffic camera fines, and if you ask them if you can blow off the fines with no consequences they'll do the usual lawyerly thing and err on the side of caution.
Also, it doesn't matter what the supreme court says if no one pays the tickets, does it? Those who pay the tickets are feeding the loss of our rights.
No, citizens who re-elect politicians who install these cameras (amongst many other moneygrabbing schemes) are feeding the loss of our rights. Those who pay their debts are just people who pay their debts.
As far as the application of due process, take a remedial class of American Government. Stay in school, kid.
I was just asking you to explain what you're saying and show me a source that isn't HoHo Creampie where I can see for myself. Please don't lecture me about education, since the Due Process Clause of the Constitution is in the Fourteenth Amendment, not the Fourth Amendment. The Fourth Amendment is about searches and seizures. Which is why I asked what application the Fourth Amendment has on traffic cameras.

Oh, lookie here!
Here's another one here in Ohio! Apparently half the people of Cleveland actually have brains!
http://www.thenewspaper.com/news/11/1128.asp
Again, why don't you guys pick up the phone and call your attorney and ask him or her? Are you afraid he or she is gonna call you a dumbass or something? Or do you need me to post the numbers for Columbus attorneys for you?

Okay, I said my previous was the last on this, but one more.
HoHo, you still haven't explained how the Fourth Amendment is applicable, and why you thought the Due Process Clause was in the Fourth Amendment.
Nor have you explained why, if the debts are passed on to collection agencies, it can't harm your credit.
Your latest link is from 2006. In January, 2008, the Ohio Supreme Court ruled the traffic cameras legal:
http://www.sconet.state.oh.us/rod/docs/pdf/0/2008/2008-ohio-270.pdf
So, the fact remains, you are civilly liable for those tickets. Furthermore, your own link has this warning: "Cleveland has responded by threatening to seize the cars belonging to anyone who refuses to pay four of the tickets."
HoHo, I have nothing against you. I think you're crazy to be screwing street hos without a condom, but if you wanna, more power to ya. I also think you're getting yourself into a bit of trouble if you really have 10 unpaid fines from these cameras so far. I'm not sure how someone gets that many of these tickets. They generally prey on people who don't travel in a city much, because everyone else knows exactly where the cameras are. But whatever. It's simply bad advice to be telling people there are no consequences for not paying those traffic camera fines. You may not care, just as you play russian roulette when you plant your creampies in crackhos.
I had my car towed by the city a month before I came to Austin.
And should anyone really take the advice of someone who had his car towed.
-
Why I had my car towed, or quantity of tickets, is beside the point.
As for Cleveland threatening to tow, I say this AGAIN, these are idle threats and lies. You are aware I'm sure, that its completely legal for the police to lie? Like "I'm not a cop." You and everyone else who succumbs to these idle threats are fueling the abolition of our rights little by little.
As far as civil liability, its financially unfeasible for the city to press a civil case for a small traffic fine. As far as hurting your credit, I have never had anything related to this on my credit report. Ever. Furthermore, if no one paid these tickets, it would be financially unfeasible for the city to keep these illegal cameras running!
I can imagine you in the 1700s.
Hoho Creampie: Fuck the British! Fuck paying these taxes on tea! Lets throw that shit in the harbor!
Francis123: I think we should keep paying these high taxes to the British. Better safe than sorry. I think we should just shut up and do what we're told unconditionally, or something bad could happen. Why do you have a problem with high taxes on tea anyway, whats your problem? The court said these taxes were fair. Why the hell do you need representation anyway?
Hoho Creampie: Oh for fucks sake.

I found that the girls that go to the clubs and bars in Columbus are far surperior to Canton or Akron, does that go for the SW down there two?
