I hear that Onyx and Vivide are the spots for dayshift now. Its been a few since I've been in town, but used to frequent Follies and they had a nice assortment. Is there a dayshift that caters more to white girls instead of AA and Latina girls?
I honestly was invited by a dancer from IG. I spent total $120 . $5 Entry $35 Drinks Remaining went to the dancer. Stayed approx an hour. 5 p til around 6 p. Definitely coming back. High mileage meaning I wore Adidas track pants. Maybe cause I knew the dancer already but. She was making sure I felt every movement. No interruption from management or waitress. I sat right beside dj booth in the darkest part of the club. Hope that helps.
Glad you had fun but your experience is a bit misleading since it appears you only interacted with a dancer you knew. And even then, not sure if you got any DO or true extra with her.
I've only seen Onyx referenced on this board when it comes to a shooting or robbery. I don't even believe they've had a consistent dayshift, as it's mainly been known as a make it rain nightspot.
That said, we know it's being used as a "Follies" takeover and it could become a good spot for mileage during the day. Hopefully others will check it out and provide some good intel.

Onyx is under new operation, so can't speak to that and I wouldn't consider Vivide a white club, although you can find a few white dancers there.

It used to be quite the opposite (early 2000's). There were co-ed types at all the big clubs and knew a few students that worked at Toppers in Athens. My friend came from CT and was used to those days and isn't into latina or AA strippers. He had a terrible time at V(I didn't think that was possible). The only place he liked and I saw co-eds was Cheetah. I've met a few at TT and PP but for the most Atlanta shines w / AA. There are a few pockets of latinas like V, PP, and TT. Houston is pretty the latina version of Atlanta from my experience.
Ok. A few of the follies were there but the majority were onyx house girls both AA and Latina.
Are you saying you recognized dancers that were at Follies before it closed like 3 years ago? Can you share any names you recognized?
Used to be a regular at Follies. I went because of the variety of ladies. Yesterday Onyx had mainly AA maybe 1 or 2 White ladies out of 20 . I will keep checking here to see if truly Onyx gets to that Follies profile but yesterday dayshift around 3 it was not a Follies variety of ladies.

They still all over at Vivide?
From the other site from a well-established monger. The words are not mine.
"From a very reliable source I was able to make some sense of what it going on in the Atlanta strip club scene.
First of all an elderly white woman owns Vivide, Pin Ups, Allure and King of Diamonds in Forest Park. She also owned the Diamond Club in Atlanta that was recently sold and torn down. She has a black guy named Marco that is her financial advisor.
Brothers Steve and Barry Shine got permission from the owners of Follies that closed to use the Follies name and they started "Follies day shift at Vivide".
Jimi Brown and the rest of his former Follies crew are trying to get something going but do not have permission to use the Follies name. They failed at Allure and now are trying at Onyx. Allure is still open.
Another group is trying to open a day shift at King of Diamonds and are using the Diamond Club name on IG and been posting a soft opening. It is a beautiful 29,000 sq ft club but Forest Park does not allow VIP rooms. This was the original Pink Pony South. So lots of luck.
Club Platinum was scheduled for a hearing 2 weeks ago in a bid to get their license back but the hearing got postponed.
Pink Pony and the Goldrush are both owned by the Galardi Corp. Which may explain why both have lame VIP rooms. Galardi previously owned Pink Pony South and Onyx. ".
Marco gets to V around 3:30 - 4 PM everyday, he is the one who started the new rules. I heard that the owner of 4 clubs was a guy, and he tried to buy Strokers, but the owner would not sell.

I don't see a wave of new white girls coming into the newer reopened clubs. Allure had a chance, the first couple weekends there were a few Cheetah level girls. But after 1st month my following 5-6 visits were duds even on peak Sat night. Maybe 4 or 5 girls total, and none for my tastes above a 7. Heard PP and TT were blackballing any girl who worked Allure, PP & TT are still the white girl clubs. PP's open air VIP rooms I've had zero success. TT is a guarantee for VIP action but you're looking at dang near $850+ for a white girl there. Cheetah has some good white girls on their roster, but that's just a place to light money on fire. V for the last year I barely saw 5% white girls, even lost their regular ones. The ones the pimps bring in look busted, trailer types. Redhead Amber Heard was a firecracker, but put on 30+ lbs (make post preggers). I took 1 hot white chick from V 2 years ago for OTC, wish I held on because there's been no alternative since.
I'm looking to make a V return after 3 months. Bummer about the new floor rules, hoping that being a known regular and repeat girls still gets the usual T&A groping. Don't care for DO. Also hoping for some new blood, in the last 6 months I've maybe danced 2 or 3 new Latinas that I was excited about.
Anybody seen NewYork at Blaze recently??
I need one of the legendary dances.

It's not Diamond Club because that was torn down and it was literally on the other side of town.
It kills me to see claims like this that either never really work or are short lived. Vivide was a hot club but not like Follies. The girls were mostly Cuban and all over you. At Follies they had a perfect cross section of White, AA, Hispanic, and a few Asians. I never felt any high pressure going in there. A lot of times these girls were so in demand you had to go to them and hope no one steals your coveted seat against the wall while you do it or go to the bathroom.
As far as this old Pink Pony South location goes. It's on Frontage Rd. Maybe not a problem during the day but just know it's one way in and one way out. Back in the day Forest Park Police would be waiting on people getting out of the clubs (not strip clubs but regular ones) late at night and it was a Turkey Shoot for them for roadblocks. To my knowledge nothing has ever been successful on that road for many many years.
Ahh the saga of WAX.
So they lost their liquor license almost a year ago. You have to give it to them they have survived. Since then though the following protocols have been deployed / changed over time:
Timeline of events (As best I can remember).
They started closing on Tuesdays.
When they first lost the license you could BYOB into the club and buy a mixer (I used to bring a pint).
They stopped charging for parking to keep everyone coming.
The rules changed and you could not BYOB but you had to put the liquor in a water bottle into the club and buy a mixer.
There was a random Fire Marshall event early on a Sat morning (1:00 AM or so) that called out several infractions.
They voluntarily closed for around a month or so to address these Fire Marshall punch-list items.
Reopened successfully. Girls came back with no problem.
Protocol changed again: Now you have to bring your aforementioned water bottle of liquor and place it on a table upon entering the club. It's to the left of where you pay admission. If you want to drink it you must first buy the mixer and get a cup of ice, then you go back to the front to put your liquor in. *Don't try to sneak anything because it could come up in the pat down*.
And then there were the furniture changes!
They moved the big round table from in front of the DJ booth to the middle by the pool tables. Now it is just an empty space.
They moved the big round table from the left of the club (as you walk in) to the middle by the pool tables. Now that is just an empty space.
Note: In common with both of these is they were in the darker parts of the club.
And finally.
At the back bar on the L side there is a row along the bar. The side entry of the Hennessy Room (VIP) is there along with the staircase up to the DJ both. Dudes would get dances back in that row because it was really dark.
Not Anymore.
A motion light was installed that has the brightest white LED light I have ever seen in a club! LOL It totally illuminates this entire area.
It's been a wild ride but you have to hand it to them they are trying their best to get that liquor license back.
Can't blame them for that.
For the regulars just hang on and enjoy the ride!
Appreciate the summary. Pretty much captures all the major points.
The liquor thing doesn't bother me, as I've always gotten liquored up before I even walk through the doors. I know I'm probably in the minority on that.
But the furniture movement is a big deal and a completely separate issue from the liquor. I would say it's to push more folks to the Hennessey room, but seems a bit backward because if you want us all to start using VIP more, open ALL of the available spaces.
They've kept rooms closed for the longest with signs talking about renovations and haven't done a thing. I've haven't been since they put the motion light you spoke about. That's way too extra.
I'd be interesed in knowing if this is consistent between day and nights. Cuz there would be times I'd come in at nights and tables are moved away and when I'd come in on days, the tables would be right back in the old spots.
