Massage Parlor Reports

Once I've established a relationship with the provider, I always ask if they'll undress as much as possible. Some prefer to keep their panties on, but any skin exposed feels better than clothing to me.

Two lines that have actually worked for me. If it's the first time and I get a strong sense of possibilities (she's dressed provocatively, AAMP or private apt setting) I'll tell 'em it's completely unfair, I'm naked and they're fully clothed. 2- Place called Revolution Body and they charge $50 it looks like waking to medical clinic and for sure it is open Space.

This phenomena becoming very noticeable the massage places are now targeting shopping malls.

Has anyone been lately? Seems like after a flurry of chatter on the board, nothing in the last few weeks.

Made a return trip to our friends in Bellingham, just to see if the conditions changed since my January visit. I asked for Lee (Lily, whoever was mentioned here) but ended up with Maya. I visited Irene again. She no longer advertises on CL, where she was listed under "Theraputic".

Irene is a late 20's/30 ish petite African lady with a beautiful British accent. She is in the medical field and both she and her apartment are clean and hygienic. She gives a great massage on the light side with one of the best HE's around. No sightseeing and some light roaming are on the menu. She is not a sex provider except for HE.

Not sure I would get a Asian massage at the mall, too many nosey neighbors around. I can see it now when a friend, neighbor or even worst wife sees me coming out of one of these places at the mall. Lots of explaining to do. Duh......

Gave it a try tonight. Called for appointment told .6 for massage & .9 with a table shower. I am sucker for a ts so I went with option 2. I got Elaine, late 30's (mabye) about 5'10 with b cups. In the ts for a 1/2 hour and it was not that bad. She spent alot of time on the ass & Rito jr. I was in the room that connects to the ts so I did not have to put on the everybody robe to go back to the room. The massage was nothing special alot of rubbing. She did use lotion but not to much. The damage was 70 house, 40 tip. I gave her 30 at first and she held out her hand. I watched her and I don't think she really saw what I gave her. I didn't like that (of an otherwise good experience) but I ponied up another 10 and she was happy. In fact, she gave a good deep massage so she really did earn it.

Average to me was neither heavy or skinny, right weight for her height. I would say based on my calibrated hand she is a large A, small B.

They always had the half, but not really cost effective, unless you are pressed for time and need a release.

Hard to beleive they would lay anyone off since they must only pay by the massage. Still, she was not on my short list.

Surprised to hear that. I would have thought the high cost of space would have been too pricey. I wouldn't go near a place in a mall too easy to bump into someone I know. The first is a large chinese gift shop that sells many things and has what apprears to be a foot massage (I did not go in or check) at the back of the store. The other one also looked like they provide a facial or other massage (leg or shoulder) mostly for women. I will check again, but I am pretty sure that they will not provide anything I want.

By the way, the men's departments at Nordstrom in the same mall also provide facials for men in a separate room where you get to sleep on a massage chair that lay completely flat similar to a table (fully clothed of course) and get a facial.

I bet the Evening massage discounts is mostly $ 5 off and perhaps $ 10 tops. I stopped going there when they raised the price to $ 70 for the regular day (2 years ago? ). They would say the 1 hour massage WAS REALLY 45 minutes to you in a matter of fact way and the front desk woman said she would DID NOT make change. It is funny that she had a large cash draw with plenty of change. IF I had $ 80 in 4 $ 20 bills she said she didn't have $ 10 to give me back and I saw it in her draw. I should have said " You said the 1 hour massage is really 45 minutes so the $ 70 fee you require is really $ 50. The rooms are cold and the place is run down and most of the woman there are OLD hags who are about to go to assited living places. You can do much better elseware. Even thought SPA and SPA charge $ 80 you can buy the two massages for $120 ($ 60 per session). You have to use the second massage within 30 days of the first or you loose the second session.

The woman are much younger and the place has showers and is clean.

Went to Boston this morning and decided to wander over to C Town for dim sum. I couldn't help but stare at a very attractive 20/30 year old at the table next to me. I did check that one. They provide Swedish, Shiatsu, and couple other "full-body" massages, not just foot; it is $1/minute regardless of duration. Some day I might go there just for massage, but would astonished if it is anything but legit.

Hit Spa B a few weeks back and got the 2 for 120 deal. Saw Nellie there and had a nice time! She was a lot of fun and we had a good time together. She is short, sweet and to the point so it made it easy for me considering she was pleasant to be with. Tipped 60 with the standard charge at Spa B for the hour. Definitely would recommend, but read further.

Went back to see Nellie at Spa A a week or so later because of the connection with her and how comfortable she made me feel. Asked if she was working and they said yes. Got there and said I had an appointment with her. They brought me to the room and told me she would be right in. When the door opened, it was not Nellie. Some girl named Denise? This is one of those situations where it is better to give than to receive.

She used to run the Spine Spot (Easton)and she takes pride in getting you good service and to come back. If you report on the bad service etc I bet you can get a free session. You will still have to pay for the tip but the house fee is waived. If she says too bad as one Maddam did I tell them I am reporting the goings on to the local LE and State LE Vice. Tell them they will be shut down. You still don't get the free massage but know that they will be very worried about being shut down.

Steve[/QUOTE]I have to disagree with this advice. I agree with bringing a concern to the manager. I also agree that SPA A's manager is pretty good about keeping customer's happy. I don't agree with the need to use her last name in the post. I also don't agree with threatening to go to LE. If the service was bad and the manager doesn't correct it to your satisfaction, write about it here and just don't go back. The negative press does have a significant impact and the provider will learn their lesson. You wouldn't want a provider to bribe you with the threat of LE, or worse your significant other, etc. I'm not saying it doesn't have its place. I got ripped off at gun point before and had some money taken a couple of other times. When that happens, all bets are off and it's do what you need to do to settle the score. I just think there's a difference between those situations and just getting poor service. But, to each his own. That's just my $. 02.

Getting the AMP all worried and uptight will just result in more "do it yourself"
endings and who wants that. If your not happy with a place, just go elsewhere. If more of us stay away, they'll get the message soon enough.
I actually think that that was happening. Notice how quiet this forum has been about them in the last month.

By the way, this switcharoo that Jeff is complaining about has been Spa A and Spa B's standard operating proceedure. He also says that this has happened to him here, but his experience the first time was not as bad because the lady he got switched over to was nice. So he really is just complaining about the bad service he got from Denise. But because he is not one to thrash the girls here, it's the poor management of the place that he wants us to be aware of. Jeff its ok. You can report a bad experience with a provider. Thats what this forum is for.

I would roll with it to see if it gets better. She starts huge upsell, I quickly get into the shower, get dressed, do not tip. I make sure that I walk to the manager/appt girl, etc. Look at my watch and make a few comments like say:

- wish my massage was as long as the shower

- Wish I was told that Rachel (example) was not going to make my appoint as I requested, or called ahead of time I would be not be seeing my regular.

- and lastly. I have no problem tipping good service, maybe next door won't ask me for $100 bills for tips.

Top service gets Tops returns from me. Shit service gets, well nothing.

That happened to me a lot at Spa A so I stopped going. Happened once at Spa B and I let them know when I was done that I was not happy and it better never happen again. It was the first and only time I ever left without tipping someone.

Next time when they ask for the money say you will pay after or when you know you are getting the person you made the appointment with. That way they know you mean business and know their game. They don't want to lose business which is why they make the appt with who you want knowing that they aren't there, so if they know you are going to walk you have the upper hand.

Even when you make an appt they will sometimes switch on you too. Oh so and so had an emergency and had to leave. I know for a fact that a lot of times the therapist you want is sometimes in the back, but as long as we accept it happening it will continue.

You can't not tip the girl who did give the massage, it is not her fault they did the switcharoo. This can back fire as they all talk and now you get shit service from everyone. And you KNOW they all talk and compare notes.

I must also chime in and say that in my few trips to B, they did a switch once. I blame the receptionist as she is probably trying to please the better know customers when there is a conflict for the same time and girl. But even in her case, she is just trying to sell massages.

The only real recourse is to leave. Now they loose money and it makes a point. No need to be mean about it. Just tell them you will try to call back later in the day to see if she is available. She "may" even give a discount on a second choice. It's tough when you've made the drive and the little head is barking, but it is the only way to get the point across.

It's cutting off YOUR nose to spite EVERY-ONES face. I have never visited any of these SPA's but I have worked in customer service for many years. A good rule of thumb for a customers is... The more YOU yell/scream/act like an ass/threaten, the less you are going to get from ME. Empty treats and public embarrassment just makes for bad mojo. Not happy? Talk to the manager CALMLY. No help? See the owner. Still no help? Write a bad review and repeat it often. (That's the beauty of this board...) It's all about the money. Bad word of mouth spreads like "the clap". Fast and painful. Again, it's all about the money. And pardon the pun but... If enough people stop coming and make management aware of WHY they are NOT coming. Things will change and there will be nothing but a Happy Ending for everyone.
