Oh how I wished I would have read your report before giving St. Jame a try. I got Pink. Very similar experience. They had apparently had a slow day so she bugged the piss out of me for paying more. i hear it so often, that we need to "keep our prices down" so that the providers won't inflate them. in theory, this makes sense. But I think there are so many people outside of hobbyists that go to these places, even if its once a year, that they are willing to drop 200-300 at gold and not think twice. And that demand is what Gold is aiming for. Also the outoftowners/business travelers/ tourists, or horny drunkards on weekends. Hence the cabs you often see out there. I think theoretically this angle makes sense, but some forget that we are not the entire demand, even perhaps a fraction of it. its over played a bit on here and some people could save their breath in bringing it up all the time. or is it just a nicer way of saying, "you spent too damn much"?

Agreed. There are people on here like that too. I paid $250 at the Aromatherapy place last week (which reminds me I still have to write a report), and really don't give a fuck what somebody on here thinks I should be doing in the way of keeping prices down. And I plan on spending $250+ again this weekend. Even economically speaking, there isn't a compelling case being made here for price control. Take Nite, for example. It's very simple: If you add up the amount of money you've reported to have spent on bad experiences, it comes out to the same as (or more than) someone would spend in the same period of time on a sure thing at an AMP of known quality. Oh, this is not good! I heard that that Doraville PD was going to do some surprise checking of the foot massage joints to make sure that all of the staff had massage licenses. I thought Spa 18 was ok because they have a new staff and all are licensed, or so I heard. If a customer get questioned and says that an unlicensed therapist gives him a massage, usually it's the therapist and not the customer who is in trouble. They might go after customers if there's proof that illegal activity is going on, but I had the impression that Spa 18 was clean. This is strange and disturbing. Romping, did you see more than one customer actually arrested? Could you tell if they were Asian or Caucasian? I'm just wondering if these are owners or customers. In any case, probably best to avoid Doraville for awhile.

It probably does have to do with licensing as nobody I know ever got any extras there. Also, could've been illegal gambling going on in the back room as it's quite common in a lot of Asian businesses.

Ok, I did some checking and found out what happened at Spa 18. Nite is right--it was all about massage licenses. The girls can do foot massages without a license but for body massages need to go to school and get a state license. The arrests involved only the staff--no customers. However, LE can question a customer as a witness, and it would be a hassle to be caught up in that. Only a few of the therapists on BH have body massage licenses, so it will be hard to get anything but a foot massage for awhile. That's at least true for the Doraville part of BH.

How did you check on the LE action at Spa 18? is there a Web site or something? I still think any Asian guys other than the manager that were in cuffs were probably gambling. Other than an owner/manager, there's really no reason for Asian guys to be there (unleass they're customers) if LE is simply checking for massage licenses. If LE didn't arrest White/Black/Hispanic customers, I doubt they would target only Asian male customers. From my understanding, the establishment itself needs to be licensed for body massages, not just the providers. I had a Chinese acquaintance asking if I could pull some strings so he could upgrade his foot massage place to do body massages but I wanted no part of it as he's shady as hell.

You're right about one thing - rarely do any Asian massage girls have real licenses. Most are fake and most girls don't even have green cards. The Asian mafias/sub-cultures are expert at getting girls into the US and keeping one step ahead of LE. Rarely do the guys behind it get caught. Usually the girls suffer, if anyone.
