Unfortunately, this is not an end-all solution.

The first problem is that, prior to meeting, some type of financial arrangement is agreed upon, which automatically places you in the "illegal" category. There's really no way to avoid addressing finances. Either it's on your site/ad or you discuss by email, phone, etc. One way or the other, obviously, it has to be known before a meeting occurs so that everyone is on the same page where that is concerned.

So, since you've already agreed to a financial arrangement, once you meet, it can be silver bracelet time if LE feels like a jeweler that day (and they usually do, no matter what; they prefer to just let you deal with sorting anything else out in court. They aren't going to negotiate why you shouldn't be arrested or cited with you, period. They simply arrest if they get you to the location based on what they believe your intentions to be, no ifs/ands/buts about it.).

Second, although it is frowned upon by some judges, LE has been known to have informants participate in a session so even if the money is provided after-the-fact, it is still provided and so is the service.

So this wouldn't solve any problems. It only 'sounds good'.

The bottom line is there is no complete safety net; you can only take the precautions you feel are best and hope it all works out the way you planned.

I think every provider should require at least 2 reputable references. Like Julianna, I, too, require a personal check (extended ONLY as a courtesy to people with no refs-not as a requirement; you have the option to say no thanks and we both go on our way with no hard feelings) if you want to continue to try to work something out. I'm never upset if someone doesn't want to provide info, it's totally their choice and I respect that as I hope they respect my requirements even if they don't like or choose to meet them. Personally I prefer the refs over the personal info any day. It's just my way of trying to give referenceless (I know that's not a word so please don't attempt to correct me) gents an opportunity for an alternative if they would like one.

Case in point is: In the later part of 2006 I still had buisness intrest in Nashville. A field office that I had in West Nashville with a storage building out back was broken in to (the storage building). Nothing that I would not have given to anyone any way was in it, But it was just the principal of the matter. Metro's finest were called and we even had video of the 2 that broke in not real clear face shots though. Upon arrival they asked for a list of taken items and values said a report would be ready for the insurance in 48 hrs. I asked don't you guys need to take pictures and finger prints and look for other evidence? Answer was and I quote "Ha ha you have been watching too much CSI on TV. If you can find them though the survelance tape should be all we need to convict um."

I thought to myself WTF good are you guys, you have closed all my favorite places down, started writing speeding tickets like crazy and trying to put an end to my favorite past time hobby now you will not even make an effort to find the guys.

So as I said, LE is lazy unless they get a hard on for you. If you make them go to very much trouble and they still run the chance of not getting a conviction they do not put forth much effort. It's the bang for the buck thing, however; If they call you up you tell them an amount and agree to meet them you are correct when you arrive and ask for or offer money it will be new silver jewlery for you.

As for the rest of your reply, as I said before I have no problem with a little info especally if you have no refrences. My understanding was that she requires full name and 2 providers also. You are just adding fuel to his unsubstantiated claims. He has not seen you nor has his followers. His actions have been discussed with the powers to be and it is not worth the bandwidth or time to keep going. LOL [/QUOTE]Totally agreed but when it comes to this type of arrest, they don't weigh their conviction probability against the effort of arresting you or citing you. They figure by whatever exchange was made via phone or email and you showing up, they have all they need to arrest and that you will likely plead out anyways and go on about your business. They don't have to put in any effort after you show up other than the paperwork; they don't have to find you or use CSI (I love that show LOL) related skills to make any determinations. This arena is a totally different ballgame than many of the other "illegal" arenas. It's probably the easiest for them too.

It's great to hear that you understand and can appreciate processes like mine (most gents do but there are always a few whiners and I never understood that except that they must be so stuck in SW mentality that they can't grasp anything else). But we've been over that a million times on the board so I won't get any farther into that again except to say "to each his own" as always.

As much as I am loath to break my personal rule of never involving myself in "internet spats," or other people's issues in general, I am even more loathe to allow self-righteous indignation to go unchecked.

Blackhawk, you were not correct in your actions with regards to your posts about Mrs. J. What you posted about her weight and attitude were, by your own admission, "what [you] had been told." That is not information. That is hearsay. You have no idea if the information you were passing along was accurate or not. That in no way is going to help a client to decide whether or not to make use of a provider’s services. If you were seeking the services of a lawyer or a doctor, you would not want information from someone who had never employed them. You would want a first-hand account.

I will agree with you that a provider should not use a client’s real name on the board. That could have disastrous consequences for the client’s life. However, posting negative comments about a provider’s services (and in this case weight and attitude fall under that category) could have disastrous consequences for her business, and by extension, her life. If it were your own opinion formed from your own experience, that’s fine; but if it is only rumor and innuendo, then you have also crossed an ethical line.

I have personally met Mrs. J, and in my experience, she was extremely sweet and charming. She is a beautiful lady with a gorgeous figure, and I think her photos accurately portray that. That’s my own opinion, which I formed through experience.

You posted your reply and then said to move it to the "rant board". I let it drop and did not reply which I thought was best for the board as a whole.
