Guys... You are getting to worked up over the Ubinas woman. The more you attempt to insult her is just fuel for her fire and will keep her coming back and digging deeper. Not that digging deeper and reporting a real investigative article would be a bad thing, perhaps she would realize that we are not just a bunch of sleezeballs. Unfortunatly her view is jaded and we will never see an article like that from her. Just ignore her, she is like a child.. the more you pay attention to her the more she hangs around, ignore her and she will eventually get bored and dissapear.

I liked your articles on Hartfords Mayor and Former Governer Rowland, I think your column is helpful to Hartford and or the State on subjects like that.
On Vaughn, it's more like gossip. I'm sure if anyone looked into your family, there might be a couple things you rather not be made public knowledge.
Also want to mention some other famous Mongers, LBJ, all the Kennedy boys, Bill Clinton, Lyle Lovett (while he was married to Julia Roberts), Rick Fox (while married to former Miss America).
Some locals, including a female Janet P*ckinpaugh (got caught in bed with another Man, while married to the President of Travelers).
I like to think of it as being a Sex Addict, but I guess degenerate might fit as well.
A bad result of getting rid of all the "Johns" would be, the women that are desperate for the money, would probably have to start mugging people or robbing convenience stores. It's just one of lifes cycles. If you get rif of the "John's", it's not like everyone is going to clean up their act and go back home and be good citizens.
How about some articles on local CEO's, selling the massive options on one hand, and laying off 100's of employee's with the other.
Some of them have retention bonus's, that would employ a 100's of people for several years. Seriously, do the math.
Hey, you are entitled to your opinion, it's cool, but you have a good column, you're a good writer, let's go after the big stories, the one that can help many people, not the gossipy stories, that hurt individuals like Vaughn.

It it time to get this board back on track to talk about what we all love the persuit of booty. I drove around the Ashley/Garden area last night. It was pretty dead until I spotted Jennifer walking along Edwards around midnight I not seen her in a week. Her face is pretty much healed up from a beating she took a few weeks ago. We did the usual back at my place for a few hours. As usual she did not disappoint. She has a nice body and when she puts on make up there is definately an improvement. In all it cost me .40 for a suck and fuck. I dropped her off back along her stroll around 4am. In all not a bad morning and time spent.

I checked out the Hartford PD police report on the UCONN coach. I was supprised that the average age of the women arrested was arround 35, youngest beign nearly my age at 29; and the Mongers caught were all over 40. Now I have not had a lot of success with sw, most of my experience have been with escorts, and amatuers (of which I concider my self an authority).
1. Would this account for my lack of success with spotting and finding sw's? I am looking for the wrong type of girl? In retrospect I have spoted a few of 30 somethings but I am always looking for the sw in low 20's. and of late every time I see one I also notice a crown victoria cruising closs by.
2. Does the Vice squad have an age bias, letting us younger mongers slip below the radar?

That was the time the sting started. I don't know about you, but I'm at work on Wednesday's at 10:30 a.m. The majority of the working force works first shift. And the younger mongers aren't out looking so early in the morning.

LE doesn't know who's who until the bust has already gone down and they do their criminal check. Since his attempt to flee didn't work, I'm sure Vaughan tried to get out of it by namedropping that he's associated with UConn. I don't know about you, but the only recognizable figure besides the UConn players is the Head Coach, Calhoun. I willing to bet the arresting officers would've had no clue that Vaughan was associated with UConn if he didn't shoot his mouth off.
There was a UConn basketball player who was busted with drugs on Albany Ave a few years ago, and it was widely publicized, so no, the players are not exempt from getting in trouble with the law if they are caught doing something illegal.

No, there is no bias in the LE. When its an operation, there is no room for bias. Its not like they can strike out 10:25am to 11:28 am on their log for the sting and say nothing happened.
