As a client, I don't like to play games either, and I like to stick to my own rules. The most important ones for me are:
1. I do it for fun, not because I'm desperate. If I don't feel the same sense of courtesy, I'm out.
2. Why do I want to know where you're from? Because there are certain places I just won't go. Safety First.
