I had a couple of very similar experiences, and my only purpose is to just warn people to be careful. We are living is tumultuous times and the scene seems to have been deteriorating constantly with no foreseeable end of the decline. A few things as I read your posting. I try not to do an incall ever! Its their terrain any and everything can happen and I'm walking right into it.
