What's always funny to me regarding taxes is that the rich have multitudes of ways to lower and lower and lower their AGI.
If you guys think they pay 39% on all the money they earn, you are smoking bad stuff from South America. I'm certainly not rich, but even I have ways of lowering my AGI. A rich guy might have $2. 5 million in income, and end up paying taxes on 300 K.
Poor shmucks can't do that.
And don't even get me started on the simple fact that the 39% is only applied to the highest end of the 300 K not the whole amount.
