If you don't have a job like a SW you can clean your neighbors apartment 1 time for 20 bucks and now you are an independent business owner, so now you can claim there is no more work and collect unemployment. That is exactly what my neighbors wife did, she hasn't worked in years but was told how to get the unemployment anyways.

I do usually 3-4 independent contracting gigs outside my full time job each year, they are small, total time 4 days but it's enough that I have to claim it, I was told that because I worked as an independent during covid I am eligible for a ppp forgivable loan, I even contacted a small bank that was advertising "get your ppp loan here" and sure enough I'm eligible. Now I don't want any part of it as I don't want to mess with loans even if they say its forgivable."

Now think about these street girls that are hustlers, most of them have criminal records and are up for anything that "might make them money". I don't know how the streets will make a recovery unless the government keeps throwing money around. Now this applys to SW's and the trash on LC. Higher end escorts will keep their noses clean and so will most massage girls which is why all the parlors are open and hurting for business.

I just don't see any incentive for a descent looking girl to go out to FIB and give a 30 dollar BJ when she got 1400 a piece for her and any kids she has, is probably milking the unemployment, and possibly hustling a forgivable ppp loan on top. While I personally don't like her people started reporting the disappearance of BIG NIKKI when the stimulus checks started flying. Between her, kids and her man that's 7000 dollars they got, (1400 x5). 7000 dollars! No girl will be out sucking dick with that kind of payday.

So the short answer is when the government stops throwing around money and the girls run out FIB will at least come back to life in some sense as girls get desperate for money.

Let's be honest. The stimulus payments in total would not support anyone (3200 over 15 months is not enough, and the addition for kids clearly doesnt cover costs). The expanded UI has helped, but for the most part that (and particularly PPP loans) goes to people who understand at least the basics of the modern economic system, something most sex workers do not (the ones who did take the UI are in for a rude awakening, as they are now in the tax system, which many of these "cash only" girls had managed to avoid).

My own observation- the girls in any adult business who are not substantially or completely drug dependent have used the pandemic to leave the business altogether. With the 20 percent increase in minimum wage, the semi / attractive girl who's relatively drug free will be able to make it without the COVID provisions, and not have to deal with the emotional, health and other aspects of most adult businesses. The number of lower quality women who either can't hack ANY job, and / or have major drug issues probably will return, but the ones we really miss, the "middle class" worker who offers a reliable, enjoyable experience without breaking the bank, will have no real incentive to return.
