Football Sunday, I'm sitting with a bunch of my friends, some of them ex-military, law enforcement, and even former border patrol. This topic came up. Crime is the "worst they've ever seen", their words, not mine. And they do this for a living.

Below is a collage of recent articles from 2021, mostly the Summer of 2021, just recently. VIOLENT crimes hit the HIGHEST they have ever been in 2021. Keep in mind two things: Journalism is always PIT (point in time). Secondly, it's a function of what gets reported. I read where 14% of police force (average) have either early retired or resigned this year due to the BS they've had to put up with. So less arrests in some cites, equals less reported, simply because they can't address it all. But in their words, it's increasing. I can promise you we tend to gravitate towards the folks we like to be around. That's why despite my association with people like that, I tend to skip the re-unions and meetups because I know I'll get tired fast of their blue-lives-matter-we're-so-persecuted bullshit.

That's an interesting perspective. And since I freely admit that I cannot understand the appeal of OF *at all*, I see no reason to dispute it.

I am now in my early 50's. There aren't too many women in my immediate peer group whom I'd pay to see naked. But circa 1995, yes, there may have been an appeal. And in 1985 (when I was in high school), I would have been all over the concept.
