If a member of this forum openly airs frustration based on a specific issue, it does not mean it is directed at you!

Bob has an issue with a member. From his original post, it was clear that it was based on someone not wanting to return a favor. Unless that scenario fits you, he ain't talking to or about you and there is no reason or need to apologize.

Anyway it was stupid of me to assume I was being cold shouldered just based on an unanswered pm I sent to a member asking a question for information. In the days that passed that the pm was unanswered this member was contacting other members and answering my question to people that hadn't asked. So it's really not a big deal because I got the answer, just not directly from the person I asked.

Here's what really pisses me off, why haven't any of you guys told me about the feature on this site that will send members pm's answering questions that somebody else asked while your away from the site for days. I'm definitely not assuming that was bullshit.

Now you say you didn't respond because I wouldn't benefit from the info.

Now I don't want to assume one of your different reasons for not replying to me is bull shit, because it's not an assumption.

Why is it that mongers get all bent out of shape when a provider does a last minute cancellation or goes silent but lately Mongers do the same thing and it's standard business. Hobbyists label cancellations and going silent as part of the YMMV definition within the hobby. What can providers call it when this happens to them? I know of several instances within the past two weeks where very legitimate providers had set up appointments only for the client to come up with some excuse like "I didn't know your location was "THERE" so now I don't have time to stop during my lunch hour". When the real case was I changed my mind and I am seeing another provider later today. Or the BP safe provider told the client she wasn't going to be at her location for awhile because of her real job but he went anyway and then blamed it on her and posted about it. Damn guys I know texts sometimes get screwed up but really? Then there is a newer one that has become popular recently and guys complaining about upselling or setting up an appointment time and saying they switched to a higher paying client which wasn't true.

All of us have balls, we are men it's genetic. So start using them and just be courteous to the providers just like you want them to be with you. If you make an appointment and have to cancel then be kind enough to give them some advanced waning so they can try and fill in your time slot. Don't use the YMMV because [B]You the Monger[/B] flaked, miscommunicated, found a better deal, decided on another one, got butt hurt or whatever other reason. If you don't like what some providers do to you then don't do it to them. I can see working three unknown BP ladies to make a deal or decide who is safe. Legitimate providers don't deserve to be treated this way, just like mongers shouldn't be treated with disrespect by legitimate ladies. It has to go both ways for there to be a symbiotic meeting of the flesh!

Well said! Indeed, we are consenting adults and need to so behave. Life happens and people need to cut each other some slack from time to time, but nobody should blame others for their own promptness or reliability issues.
