Sane?
Hunter Biden is a private citizen. He isn't a government official, elected or otherwise. He certainly hasn't tried to court or shape public opinion in the sane way as DonJr. , Eric, or Ivanka.
I wouldn't classify anything Don Jr. Has said as "sane"!
I get your point but the point I'm getting at is that instead of increasing the penalties on guys trying to meet women, they could increase the penalties on heinous crimes instead. Or, you know, pave the roads so we don't have our cars destroyed or decrease our taxes for once. Instead they put more burden on the middle / working class because not only do we pay so the elite can live their lavish lifestyle, but we legally can't go out and even meet a woman for a casual fling if we feel like it. The fair way to do it would be a 50 dollar fine and a small infraction / slap on the wrist like it was in the olden days, not some bullshit like making it a first degree misdemeanor. Or throwing in the "criminal tools" charges just to be dicks. If any of these politicians gave a shit about us they would do things to make our lives easier and things that were beneficial for us, not stuff like cracking down on hookers disguising it as "rescuing victims" and then charging them that literally makes the working class detest them. They got the picture with weed, hopefully they will get the picture with this issue as well. That is why I have the viewpoint that both candidates in the 2020 election were garbage.
The recently passed Infrastructure Bill does one of the things you're asking; fund to pave the roads. It also funds upgrades to the power grid, increases access to the information infrastructure by subsidizing internet connections to under served areas, allocates funds for the upgrade of water plants, etc. Taxes were also decreased with the stimulus checks. The stimulus money is a "tax refund" for next year, without increasing the taxes being collected. So your taxes for next year will essentially be less, by getting the refund now when it's needed the most. Note that in 2017, taxes were indeed lowered; with the corporate taxes permanently reduced from 35% to 20%, but personal taxes only temporarily reduced. Those lower personal taxes are back up to the same levels now. Why were corporate taxes reduced permanently and personal taxes only temporarily by expiring after only 3 years? (There were no conditions imposed on the corporate taxes. They could use the savings however they wanted. In over 90% of the cases, companies used the savings for stock-buy-back programs that increased share price. Very few used the savings to fund expansions, increase job count, give non-management raises, etc.)
Prostitution as a crime is not a federal crime. It's a state-by-state law; it's legal in the state of Nevada, but there city / county statutes prohibit it within each jurisdiction; currently it's legal in about 10 counties there. Sex trafficking is a federal crime because the prostitutes are unwilling participants. Sex trafficking is not the same as prostitution. To get the remedy you want, you will have to go state by state.

If Hunter Biden hired a hooker, that would make him one of us; a private citizen, paying for a service.
The elder Trump children really don't qualify, do they? (I will give Ivanka a pat on the back for at least learning how to shut up after her sperm donor left the White House.) As for Eric and DonJr. , Ron White said it best. "they have the right to remain silent, but not the ability." Tater Salad has spoken.

Are You Sure
Just curious. Not trying to start a battle. Could have read what you posted incorrectly. So asking for clarity. Did you two (VK and BM) actually mean to give a thumbs up to the article from November 2020 which was reviewing crime rates during Trumps Presidency? And say under Trump Crime was at an all-time low?

Typical that Trumptards give Trump credit for a 3. 4% unemployment rate (pre-Covid), but conveniently forgets that Barack Obama took it from 10.1% to 3. 8%. All Trump did was. . 7% in three years. Less than a percentage point. That's like saying his accomplishment was just not to screw up someone else's work.

Not giving anyone credit
I'm merely presenting facts, and the fact is crime is down over the last 30 years or so. The original post claimed crime was increasing.
Given that most crimes are prosecuted at the state and local level, the president has little to do with the rate. State level programs are the driver, from laws being written to policing through to prosecution. The number of people incarcerated in state prisons is 10 X the number of federal prisons.

Over rated
Personally I think Trump is over rated.

Thats why they are focusing on going after stuff like the hobby, it saddles people with records and makes it difficult for them to get jobs and get by. And you can look at the statistics but alot of that is misleading because most of the crime in the big cities is off the charts. Its just that most of it doesn't get reported, because instead of going after dangerous criminals they make the easy arrests with DUI checkpoints and posting up a bogus ad drinking soda and eating bags of chips in a hotel room to slap average joe taxpayer with an "engaging in prostitution" and "criminal tools" charge. Also alot of the departments are short on officers as well, so that is even higher odds of big time criminals getting away with stuff while they are running other useless operations. It actually makes sense from their standpoint, everyone is against the police now, so work smart not hard and don't put yourself in any danger collect your check and get your pension. I'm sure alot of people would do the same thing if they were in their shoes.

As in, that's their actual goal? You think when they have zoom meetings that they have that as number one on their slide deck? When they have conferences in Vegas do the breakout sessions all start with reinforcing this big goal?
Just curious.

Probably not.

Just curious.
But they are all in the pocket of bit political campaign contributors who probably do actively try to do that. So #1 on the slide deck is "How to keep my campaign donors happy". Which could mean cracking down on stupid laws that mostly affect the lower classes.
