Had a chance a few weeks back to make it through Niota. They have a new name (Blue Hot Stone) but nothing has changed. Recently saw Rose off Kingston pike. First time for me. Beyond that, you're talking just south of Chattanooga, or Asheville, NC. I have less experience with those but in recent memory those haven't been great either. Maybe near Lexington, KY, but I haven't been that way in several years.

A few years ago the situation was much, much better. Since then the government has run all of the Koreans out of town, and the Chinese places that have sprung up in their wake are either very careful to stay legal or very careful to not get caught.

They're definitely not worth the drive unless you happen to just be out that way and have a little bit of time and money to burn.

In late December, I replied to a CL ad and found a lady doing massages out of her home. When I asked for a pic (none was in the ad), she came unhinged. Sudden illogical texts in all caps. I blocked the number.

Got back to town a couple weeks later and set up an appointment. She tried the upsell via text, but I told her I was good with the base massage. Arrived and went in. No in-person upsell attempt. Massage wasn't as good and she made a few comments about other clients (but not as to who they were). Didn't really want to hear about anyone else's body or hygiene issues. She made a few other comments as I was dressing that showed poor customer interface etiquette. On the way out, I decided that would be my last visit.

A few days later, got a text from her while I was working. She wanted to know if I needed a massage. Told her I was working. She requested me to pay in advance for a future session. Told her I never do that. And the psycho from the first texting interaction returned. Said she needed me (my money) now just like I needed her during our session. If you haven't seen her, don't ask me for her number. I won't give it to you. I'm not interested in increasing her business or your misery. If you have seen her, count yourself lucky if you haven't experienced the psycho aspect.
