Similar situation in Ma with racing
Here is a copy of the revised bill that is going to the House this week. I don't think they thought this through properly. RI has the 2nd highest unemployment rate in the nation. Passing this will make the girls and owners either leave the state or file for unemployment, not to mention the lose of the tax base when businesses close. All spas pay taxes, where are they planing on compensating for the lose in tax base, ad more taxes to the residents?

A similar (sort of) situation is happening in Ma with reference to dog racing that was 'outlawed' last year. it actually takes effect at the end of the year although one track has closed already. lawsuits have been filed by dog owners, workers and owners asking for reversal based on the premise that you are taking what was a legal business under the law and now and making it illegal. They are asking that it be voided since it is taking a 'business' away or if that doesn't work they are asking for huge payments from the state for taking their 'property'. Not sure of the legalese of it but in effect they want payment for their business and for future earnings.
Secondly there is a a huge brew ha over the fact that it will cost thousands of dollars in unemployment benefits (now extended) from state and federal coffers not to mention welfare and food stamp ect.
Again this isn't apples to apples but the premise is the same. They have outlawed legal businesses which should be entitled to compensation. And of course those who are able can and should file for benefits including unemployment and welfare. All we need are some lawyers who want to take a chance.
Far East during Saturday evenings storm.
Looked to be slow so went in.
Met Ruby, tall, cute, long legs & hair, a real looker. Probably around 30 yrs.
Sweet persona. Table shower was just ok. Used hands & bar of soap. Hit all the spots and left there squeaky clean. Asked for shampoo and she abliged.
To the room, was not impressed with message technique, just pressing and rushed. Maybe just under 15 minutes then a lame light touch before the flip. I appreciate and was hoping for a nice message but not this time. So, with the flip comes the question of what's my pleasure. Played with the prices and was standard for all at $.4 but settled for the starting HR price from her at .6. I baulked, said .4. But she was so damn hott, she won.
So she strips down naked and exposes that bangin body. To my surprise was a thick bush... So she climbs aboard and starts slurping one nipple for about a minute, then makes her way over to the next. Really showing me what I am missing in her oral skills. She then slides down and begins slurping my nutz for gods sake! And for couple of minutes! I was like "awesome". Then began thinking we had a $ misunderstanding. Really didn't put much thought into it, so I enjoyed the action.
She then starts the hand strokes and I'm like, more more more with the suckles. Of course she hit me up for more more more $.
Anyway, she backed off and stood. She was pumpng at a fast pace then she says "I do 69 to make you faster"...
Yeah, I say works for me, so she swings that fine ass & thick bushed cookie just out of my tongues reach. Damn, I tried, she was quick to pull away and she says "no touchy" I said fk it & blew in under 20 seconds. She insists I come with more green next time. Which I might. but then again, I don't need my pic on the local feeds this week.
Sweet girl. Dressed me and was out the door in under 40 minutes.. No biggy this time.
Total damage was $.2.
What meeting took place on Sunday?
http://www.projo.com/news/content/PROSTITUTES_SPEAK_10-26-09_6QG7IAL_v15.3a669ab.html
Knowing one of the ladies that spoke i would believe she isn't going to take it lying down. and I know she doesn't need an interpretor as her english is quite good. Sounds like these stalw'o'rts in the legislature might not know what is coming.
Not to mention the massive layoffs and tax hikes to pay for lost taxes and benefits to those laid off. I do believe that they have been led to believe that 90 plus percent are non english speaking illegals who aren't paying taxes and aren't eligible for benefits. More to come I'm sure.
Any synopsis of the changes
The Senate version was drastically re-written by the house judiciary today. Not sure the Senate is going to like this - could be ( hopefully) an extended debate. Note also that 5044 (the house bill) is on Senate Judiciary calendar for 10/28 discussion and is dramatically different that 0596 - the original Senate bill (re-written by the House). With any luck the whole thing could fall apart.
Could be quite a lengthy debate brewing - let's hope.
Mr ND - do you have a quick update on the changes? are they better for us or worse? any like you said hopefully the debate will lag on and on and on......
I did hear that the ACLU is involved in opposing the bill and that some of the owners have hired a lawyer. With the ACLU on board maybe a court fight will ensue and although the envitable will happen it might take awhile. SO
We are still legal today right ?
I'm about to walk out of my office right now and head down to one...we are still legal today right? lol shit this sucks
I wish it were so but just BEING CAUGHT in an establishment or going in & coming out of one. Even if just getting a massage and nothing else. Is considered evidence.
From S-0596: We've all seen the list on the web that lists Spas that are suspected of being brothels so this may be all the a-holes need in terms of "reputation".
I imagine a good lawyer could get you off (no pun intended) unless you were actually caught in the act but who wants to deal with all that.
One odd thing. The Senate calendar has yet to be updated today even though the Senate Judiciary voted to approve this BS last night. They are usually pretty quick about doing so.
Finally. Be careful around FE later today. There was a police van with tinted windows parked just down the street facing FE. Mind you, it was across from the DD so maybe I'm just paranoid. F**k 'them, I thought, and I still went in and had my (hopefully not) last legal adventure with my good friend there. It was great!
I know you all have your fingers crossed but....
I have it from good sources (people actually making the decision) this bill will be passed. As someone said a bit earlier there has been a change in the origninal bill but forgetabout that, its going to be passed. The major reason behind this being certain, as someone on here said earlier also, it has been an embarrasment to the state for too long. The familiars I have said it must come to end during this sitting and it will.
