Driving with long hair
Sorry, I thought everyone heard of DWB. And I figured context would lead you to Driving with Long Hair. Bill they have this site called Urban Dictionary. I use it all the time. I really do, it comes up at work, a client says something or I read something and I have to figure out what the hell they are talking about. One was a "Donk" I see them all the time, never knew what it was called until I looked it up!
Hey there my fellow Tampa mongers,
From this weeks post of increased UNCLES on the streets of Nowatney & so forth, I decided to do a recon this am Just to see for myself how many of our UNCLES were out & abouts!
A SHITLOAD! It wasn't a mongering trip this am Because there have to be SW out to be a mongering trip! It felt like a family reunion with a bunch of UNCLES you don't recognize. The streets were infested with them. I went sightseeing from 142nd street, south on Nebraska all the way to Hillsborough. There were UNCLES everywhere. I did spot our famous Mindy, won't disclose the location to somewhat protect her from further harrassment from our UNCLES but I did manage to snag her. It was just too hot out to partake in any extra curricular activities today. I will gladly share Mindy's # with SM.
Why SM's? BECAUSE 95% of the time, they are constistent contributors to this great forum.
Be safe out there my fellow mongers & DON"T TRUST ANY UNCLES that you don't personally know. They will pretend to be your friend only to get you to incriminate yourself. TRUST ME ON THIS ONE! Listen to what the other fellow mongers have posted! Rook.
Since I didn't ask Mindy if it was ok to pass her # to trusted members, out of respect to her, I called her just now & asked her if she mind & she was rather rude about it and answered in a pissed off tone.
"Yes, I do mind"! I tried to explain to her that it would be only to trusted members & she cut me off saying she was in the middle of something & would call me back & hung up. Hey, I was just trying to get her some.
Business. Not sure what state of mind she was in, but who knows with these SW's.
Sorry, for those who pm'ed me asking for her, I'll try to call her again tomorrow. Rook.
Sorry, for those who pm'ed me asking for her, I'll try to call her again tomorrow. Rook.
Just be thankful you still have a working number. It was a good idea to ask her, that way you didn't screw it up for yourself.
Seems when I have a number, it is always non-working when I need to talk to them, but when they need me, they seem to have no problem finding a working phone. And they call me from that phone every 30 seconds. Of course this is always when I have no need at all to talk to them... LOL
Yes, they split you up, play one against the other. But only if you confess would they have anything on you! Go ahead and charge me on her word, good luck getting her to say the same thing in court. Her word is no good, she is a drug addict HO. Anything she says to a cop is hear say. A cop can't arrest me on hear say. If I tell a cop I made a deal, I'm admitting my own guilt, I'm busted.
I've posted this before, but it's definitely worth watching for anyone new to the hobby, or anyone who risks being stopped by police under less than ideal circumstances. It's kind of long, but please watch it:
http://www.youtube.com/embed/6wXkI4t7nuc
The police are very, very good at getting you to incriminate yourself. They will try and scare you into talking, but remember: you can't talk your way out of getting arrested if they have something to arrest you for, no matter what they tell you.
NOTHING you say to a police officer will ever improve your predicament. ANYTHING you say will only make your situation worse.
Ok so I just watched that youtube video, or most of it. I watched the entire part of the lawyer's side and part of the Officer's side. What I want to know, when they say do not talk to an officer under ANY circumstances, do they litterally mean that in any situation possible. Lets say I'm driving in Nowatney, I forget to put my turn signal on as I'm coming up to a stop sign, which now LEO has a 'justifiable' reason to pull me over. If he asks me why did I not put up my signal would it be a good Idea to just say "I plead the 5th" and / or if he asks me what am I doing driving in this area do I also just say "I plead the 5th"? I need help on this.

You can tell them your name and address just make sure it matches the paperwork you just handed him. Telling a cop 'I take the 5th' makes you sound like a smart ass. If the cuffs come out, you are going downtown, there is no point in talking at all. Shut up, call your Lawyer.

If you are totally clean, and there is no way they saw you do anything wrong, then no reason to be a ballbuster. The time to really shut up is when they have asked you to get out of the car and you think they might have a reason to arrest you.
Up to that point the best thing is to just have story prepared. Be cool and apologize, and say you are looking for some business that you know is somewhere in the area.
Just thought of another dynamic to ponder. Where does not incriminating ones self end and obstructing an investigation begin?
I know I'm in no hurry to go to jail.
I was watching traffic court in Tampa a few years ago, I was a witness in another case. I saw a lawyer, beat a ticket for a guy who did not even show up in court! The lawyer got the cop to say why he pulled the guy over in the first place. The cop said the guy spun his wheels when the light turned green. That was basically it. Turns out a cop can't pull you over for just that. So everything after that had to be thrown out. Window tint, seat belts, whatever else he wrote tickets for was thrown out! Without a legit reason to pull you over, everything else is gone, just like it never happened. A good lawyer is worth every cent. Keep a number for one in your brain at all times. (they take your phone and wallet at the jail) An arrest is bad but a conviction is much worse.

JJ
You cannot give up your right to remain silent, even implicitly. If you answer a question or fifty, and then decide that you don't want to talk any more, you can plead the 5th at that time. If later you decide you want to talk some more, you can do that, too. As a constitutional right, you can invoke the 5th Amendment any time you want. If you want to plead the 5th on the odd numbered questions, knock yourself out.
While I still recommend not talking to the police, it is absolutely untrue that you can give up your 5th Amendment right to remain silent simply by answering a question. Just not so. In fact, the 5th Amendment is so utterly inviolable that even convicted serial killers still possess to their dying breath. It is irrevocable and can be used at any time.

Ok so If I do everything right (put my turning signal, fully stop at stop sign, have car insurance, tag is up to date, etc) and a cop stops me out of suspicion, and asks me what I am doing in that certain area, I could say that I am looking for some investment property and have proof. So that is what I should do correct, I shouldn't just stay silent? Also, I think from what I read in another post, you can get pulled over just for 'waving' to a girl, or 'calling' out, can they give you a ticket or arrest you for that. And what about the case in which If already have a girl in the car and he pulls me over, do I still say that I am looking for investment property with her or what do I do? I just can't let it get to the point where I would have to call a lawyer if I had to as previously mentioned, the point is for me to be able to just talk to Seargent hard ass, and be on my way with no problem. Any ideas?

I have not posted in a long time. I just got back in Tampa. I really don't do the street thing anymore. I use the girls off the sites like eros. I was able to see some big names girls off that site. Also it looked like she put some weight on. Can anyone confirm this? Well stay safe out there.

If I'm daydreaming and look in my rear view to see one right behind me, I lose.
If I spot one on the side of the road so late that had I been speeding I'd have got a ticket, I lose.
Do it, and a good side effect is that it keeps you aware of your surroundings and a better driver.
