I just wanted to post a follow up on all this Senior Club shit from the newbs. Referring to a recent example, you should notice that ElBango is a regular member with 28 posts. But notice that he's making an effort to read the forums, ask questions discretely, try places out, and find new joints.
There was some heated controversy about whether his reviews in Pasadena were bullshit or not. So I hit one of these joints and posted a followup review on it. Why? Because he's done his best to not be a fucking newb, I made it a point to check out one of the places he reviewed and it was accurate. I posted an affirming review to back him up. Hopefully, the fact that I have Senior status and a good rep on this board means enough to get the heat off of him and give him some cred. In my book, ElBango's done a hell of a lot of good footwork in a short time I've started seeing his posts.
Finally, I forgot to make a point regarding newbs in this hobby. Don't jump on this forum and think that all us Seniors are against you from the start. No way. We're a limited breed, so we're always looking for good members to join our circle. But one thing you got to be aware of getting into this game, is this: If you're looking for a cheap hobby, go fucking collect McDonald's Happy Meals Toys. This hobby is expensive. Don't troll these forums looking for tips or advice on how to get poon for cheap. So get your dollars out, and work the streets, AMPs, apartments, craiglists, backpages, Hx, etc. If we smell any "Hey, can you hook me up with a great place? I don't know where to start, and I don't have the funds to hit every place until I find a good one." we Seniors are going to ignore you.

I don't see why some people are afraid to do online research about people and places posted on the various forums. The only time I ask for help is when all my avenues of research are exhausted. Just my way of saying don't asking for freebies. And if you you really have to ask, please make sure you ask for ideas of where to look for what you want to know rather than asking for specifics.

I hate when I come on the forum and its full of posts complaining about people not giving up info because they are not a Senor Member (and here I go Contributing to the problem) If you don't have the posts and quality reports don't bother asking others for info and if you do don't get all pissed off because you don't get answers.
