So this chick contacted me first and her profile said she was based in the boonies of N.Illinois. We started texting and she sent some photos and she has (assuming the pix are her) a stunning body!

What do you make of that? Did you confirm that the Uber indeed picked up and dropped off somebody? Did you see who it was? Did this person just wander around after you said no and eventually made their way back on their own?

Such a bizarre high effort way to try to scam somebody out of $30.

Edit: oh wait, it looks like you didn't send her an Uber, you sent her money for an Uber, so you probably had no way to confirm she ever even ordered one.

Another mistake that I know better than to make. But we seemed to click so well over text. She had even invited me to see her perform at a showcase the night before. She was updating me with her ETA and saying how she was nervous but excited. Kept saying she was around the corner, down the street, or across the street waiting for me to send more money for her "safety", but wouldn't meet me in the lobby or out front so that I could see that she was actually there. I guess it's possible that I missed out on a good time by not sending 30 bucks, but her story just wasn't adding up and I had backup on standby so I pulled the plug.
